    Interactioncurvehasbeenpreparedconsideringuniaxialbendingi.edistributionofsteelon
    twofacesonly.Incalculations,momentcapacitiesarecomputedinboththedirectionsconsidering
    uniaxialbendingineachdirection.Factoralphadependsontheaxialforceoncolumnanditscapacity.
    AsSP16cl.3.3statesthatitisquitecumbersometoexactlydesignacolumnforbiaxialmoment,
    codepermitstodesignthecolumnsconsideringinteractionratiowhichshouldbelessthan1.
    Hence,steelcomputedfromthisinteractioncurveshouldbedistributedequalyinallthefaces.
    Resultscanbecomparedwiththechartsfor4sidedreinforcementinSP16.

    Yes,thereisnostraightcutmethodfordesignofcolumnsundertensionwithbiaxialbendingbyLSM.
    Intherecentpastalso,columnswithsuchloadingweredesignedbyWSM.

    Evenatpresent,suchcasesinwatertankswithcontinuouswettingcondition,WSMisemployedfor
    design.ConceptofWSMislikethis:Totalconcreteareaisneglected,steelareareqd.isworkedout.
    However,concretestressiscalculatedbasedonequivalentconcreteareaandkeptwithinless
    permissiblevalues.Crackwidthisalsocalculated,ifcrackisallowedatallandcontrolleditwithinthe
    permissiblevalues.Thesepermisiblevaluesofcrackwidthdependsontheenvironmentalcondition.

    IncaseofLSMdesign,forbuildings,SP16curvesarebeingfollowedasitisbeingfollowedfor
    Compressionwithbiaxialbending.Onlydifferencebeingthecrackwidthcalculation.Incaseof
    tensioncolumns,crackwidthcalculationisnecessarytokeepitundercontrol.However,thereisno
    LSMmethodtilldatetocalculatethiscrackwidth.ThiscrackwidthcalculationmaybedonebyWSM.

    Yes, i have already generated the interaction diagrams along with design of columns with tension
    withbendingbasedonSP16.ImfindingasuitablecrackwidthcalculationbyLSMmethodwhichi
    couldnotfind.

    IfanybodyhasanymaterialforcrackwidthcalculationbyLSMmaypleaseuploadhere.

    I m to further to add that though Uniaxial curves are given in SP16, different designers design
    biaxialcasewiththehelpofthesecurvesbyadoptinganenhancedmomentactingonthecolumnin
    theweakerdirection.Ihavealsoadoptedsomesort.Iwilltelluthesameafterdonewith.
