    hello everybody, 
    i would like to know how to give partial moment release in ETABS, say 30 % has to be release at

    start or end. 

    in STAAD we just give MP 0.3 
    however when i try to give the release 30 % of moment in a member in ETABS 
    with partial release in MM3 0.3 

    what is the meaning of 0.3 in ETABS is it 30 % or 0.3 KN M 

    also if we change the units to KIPS the value 0.3 changes to 466 (or some value) 

    when we change the units to Nm the value changes to 300 

    kindly explain me the procedure of releasing the moment in a Member in ETABS 
    as it is very easy in STAAD.
