ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This report is in furtherance of the investigation into the drug distribution activities of Misty Janette Cummings
(A.K.A. Misty Croslin) and Ronald Cummings. Both Ronald and Misty Cummings are believed to be distributing
an unknown amount of Pharmaceutical Narcotics throughout the Putnam County area. The purpose of this
investigative report is to document the controlled purchase of prescription Hydrocodone pills from the
Cummings, on January 13, 2010.
On Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at approximately 1505 hours, Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE)
Special Agent (SA) 7 I , (SA) Task Force Officer , Putnam County Sheriff's
Office (PCSO) Detective (Det.). , Det. j Det. and Det. and
Lieutenant (Lt.) P I met at a pre-determined location, where a briefing was conducted. It was
determined that Det._ would act as an undercover officer (UC) and attempt to purchase a quantity of
Hydrocodone pills from Misty and Ronald Cummings.
Through previous recorded telephone calls with UC and Misty Cummings, Cummings agreed to sell
Hydrocodone pills to UC. The calls are summarized below:
Call #1: At approximately 1340 hours, Cummings advised UC she would call him back in an hour and be sure
about the pills.
Call #2: At approximately 1450 hours, Misty Cummings told UC that she could get him 25 Lortab pills now and
more later today. A male believed to be Ronald Cummings said they don't want UC to get mixed up like last time.
M. Cummings said they should be able to get 50 Percocet. UC and M. Cummings discussed a time frame and M.
Cummings said the pills would cost $7.00 per pill.
Call #3: At approximately 1500hours UC asked if M. Cummings had the pills now, to which she said they could
have them in 2 seconds. UC and M. Cummings decided to meet at the Post Office in San Mateo, Putnam County,
Florida.
At approximately 1510 hours, the UC vehicle was searched by Det.~, which met with negative results for
the presence of contraband
At approximately 1540 hours, UC departed the meeting location and drove to the San Mateo Post Office, Putnam
County, Florida.
Call #6: UC advised M. Cummings he was there at the location and M. Cummings said she would be there in 5
minutes. (UC's conversation in this call was recorded with the video from inside the vehicle
At approximately 1547 hours, UC arrived in the parking lot of Cowart's Meat Market 530 Hwy 17 south San Mateo
Fl. Misty Cummings, Ronald Cummings and Hope Sykes arrived in a white Chevy truck. All three subjects got
into the vehicle with UC. M. Cummings entered the front passenger seat, R. Cumming entered the rear
passenger seat and Hope Sykes entered the rear driver's side seat. M. Cummings then directed UC to give her
the money and drive down Old San Mateo Road. The UC stopped the UC vehicle on Old San Mateo Road where
M. Cummings and Sykes exited the vehicle and walked up to an unknown residence. R. Cummings exited the
rear passenger area of the vehicle and got into the front right passenger's seat of the UC vehicle. R. Cummings
instructed the UC to drive down the road a short distance then turn around and go back and pick up M.
Cummings and H. Sykes. A short time later the UC returned to the area where the UC dropped M. Cummings and
H. Sykes. M. Cummings and Sykes were walking down the roadway and the UC stopped the vehicle. M.
Cummings got into the right rear passenger's seat, H. Sykes got into the left rear passenger's and the UC
departed from the area. M. Cummings gave R. Cummings the pills that UC then received. The pills purchased
are (25) Hydrocodone pills (approximately 16.2 grams) purchased from M. Cummings, R. Cummings and Hope
Sykes for $190.00. After the purchase was complete M. Cummings, R. Cummings and Hope Sykes exited the
vehicle and left the area in a white Chevy truck.
At approximately 1600 hours, UC departed from the area. At approximately 1615 hours, UC met back with
Agents at a pre-determined location.
The prescription pills were identified as Hydrocodone. The pills were blue in color with an oval shape, and bore
the markings "Watson 540" on one side and a score on the opposing side. The active ingredients are
Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. The pills were counted and weighed by Oet. to which they
totaled 25 and weighed approximately 16.2 grams.
At approximately 2000 hours, the original OVD copies of the audio/video recordings, a CD copy of the phone
