In the first semester, we have a practical paper called Soft Skill Development-Practical. It is the
derived syllabus framed by NASSCOM which is based on the Global Business Foundation skill.
By adopting the coursed in to our curriculum, we are able to enhance the overall personality of
the management students according to the present needs of the industry. This course enhances the
skills of students and increase employability through rigorous training, support and guidance.
This innovative syllabus is not available in any the institution.
2. Area of Specialization
The students of MBA will have to give their choice of six electives out of sixty electives offered
in major specialization in both third and fourth semester each. The electives in both the third and
fourth semester will be finalized on the basis of majority students opting for the same. The
students of MBA will have to give their choice of six electives out of which they will opt for four
electives in third semester and remaining two electives in the sixth semester.
4. Internship Programme
The students of MBA will undergo 6 to 8 weeks intensive immersion in industry between the
first and second year of the MBA programme. Internships give students their first exposure to
working in an organization and also a flavor of the functional area they are interested in pursuing
later in their careers. This also provides an opportunity to think about companies which will best
help to take their careers forward once they graduate.
5. Student Experience
The student experience is generally positive, though with room for improvement. The positive
feelings of students towards the College and curriculum are mainly due to the strength of the
facultystudent relationships and the idea that they can be treated as people, not numbers. In
addition, programs that bring students together with business executives, such as the Strategy
and Ethics/Social Responsibility speaker series, Leadership Lunches, and active student clubs
enhance the student experience.
