Introduction to the Event

CONDUCTING ORGANISATION
Indian Society of New Era Engineers is a
society for engineering students which aims at
the technical and managerial development of
future engineers. It gives the opportunity to the
undergraduate and diploma engineers to
research and develop innovative projects. ISNEE
mainly focuses on the automobile sector. The
motorsports events organized by ISNEE give
teams the chance to demonstrate and prove
both their creativity and their engineering skills in
comparison to the teams from other Universities/
Colleges across the country.
THE COMPETITION
National Go Kart Championship is a
competition to bring and enhance good
engineering approach and practice for
graduating and diploma students in
engineering. The competition is basically to
design and fabricate a Go-Kart in low budget
followed by a competition of the selected teams.
This competition will consist of several tests and
tasks to be performed by the vehicle and
cracking the same will decide the winner of the
event.
THE DESIGN
The competition is for go-karts in the 125 cc
segment usually weighing in at less than 220
pounds. That means a medium power to weight
ratio and speeds approaching 70 km/h. This is
why the design of the car is so crucial in this
competition. Every detail about the vehicular
dynamics and geometry can significantly influence
the overall performance of the car in the dynamic
events.
A great amount of study and iteration have led to
the conception of our final design. Given below is
the image of the design model of the go-kart.
ABOUT TEAM CATALYST

Team Catalyst is fine collection of go kart and
racing enthusiasts who have come together to live
their dream of making their own fully functional,
race worthy Go-Kart. The team members were
chosen after a rigorous selection procedure and
only the best were chosen. After the selection
process, members engaged in weeks of rigorous
study and discussions, aimed at formulating a
working idea for the go kart. The in-depth study
included the various automotive systems at play in
a car and their fine working and mechanisms.
Members in-charge of design did a comprehensive
study on the functionalities of SolidWorks and
came up with a fine and efficient design which
later on found its place in the top five designs in
the country during the design round.
ESTIMATED BUDGET PLAN

Since the completion of the design, the team has been involved in
the rigorous process of finding the right parts for the Go Kart. We
have ensured that we do not sacrifice the safety of the driver by
going for cheap parts. Hence we have chosen top notch
components giving priority to safety and performance. But like all
good things in life, all these components do not come at a cheap
price and it is for this that we seek your gracious help. We hope to
repay you in our own way through the various sponsorship
benefits that we will give back to your company. The detailed
budget of our project has been illustrated below.

1) Sponsoring Kart Name: Our most beneficial package of sponsorship
offers the chance for your company name to be added as a Prefix to
the name of the Go Kart and will be displayed on the Front Guard of
the Go - Kart.
2) Logo in Brochure: All our Team Brochures and Catalogues will contain
the logo of your company, registering our thanks and also serving as
method of advertisement for your company.
3) Logo on Kart: The logos of all companies who sponsor us will have a
spot on the body of Kart. The clearly visible logo will serve as
advertisement both during the event and afterwards.
4) Spot on Team Video: A video will be made and uploaded on YouTube
and will serve as method of connecting with the worldwide audience.
Your company and the its logo will be displayed towards the end of the
video along with our sincere gratitude.
5) Logo on Apparel: Your company Logo will be displayed on the T-shirt's
of all team members and will be worn during the event.
6) Publicity on Social Media: Your company will be allowed to advertise

connected by Team Catalyst such as Facebook, Twitter, etc.
7) Kart's Presence in Company Events: We would be more than obliged to
display the Kart that your company so graciously sponsored during any

LEVELS OF SPONSORSHIP
BENEFITS
LOGO ON APPAREL
Bronze Level Sponsorship (10K - 20K INR) - This is the most

basic level of sponsorship. By availing this level of
sponsorship your company logo will be displayed on our
T-Shirts and Go Kart as well. Moreover the brochure will
feature on our brochures, pamphlets and catalogues as
well.
Silver Level Sponsorship (20K - 50K INR) - Buy availing a

silver level sponsorship your company will receive all the
benefits of bronze level as well more benefits. For starters,
your company logo will be showcased on our promotional
video which will be uploaded on YouTube. Moreover, your
company will be allowed to advertise through our social
media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter etc.
Gold Level Sponsorship (50K - 70K INR) - This is the highest

level of sponsorship available and will include all the
benefits that we offer our sponsors. This includes all the
features of silver level along with a few grand benefits. We
will be more than willing to display our Kart in any of your
company's promotional events or parties. And last but not
the least, we will prefix the name of your company to the
name of our Kart, making your company the official
sponsors of the whole kart as such. This means that
whenever the name of the Kart is used, your company
name will be mentioned.
