William Arthur Ward famously said,
Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is
like wrapping a present and not giving it.
This time of year, as we begin preparing for Thanksgiving, one of the
holidays we celebrate each year in the United States, families begin
to think more about the precious moments they spend together.
We begin to use the word thankful in conversation. Our focus turns
to gratitude and our minds begin to ponder what we are most thankful
for this holiday season. But why do we only think about it once a year?
If expressing gratitude is so simple, then why dont we do it everyday?
Gratitude can be found in the smallest things a smile to someone
passing on the street, holding the door open for someone or spending
an extra few minutes asking how someones day was. Giving thanks is
a simple way to improve your life, your health and your well-being.
There are so many things that I am grateful for each day. I am honored
to help others choose their path, find freedom, share health and wellness
and build friendships that last a lifetime. For this reason and so many
others, gratitude is represented in the Forever values.
I encourage you to take the time to reflect on what you are grateful for
and turn this into a daily habit. Share with others what their friendships
and well wishes mean to you everyday. By taking time to share these
thoughts, we can pay gratefulness forward and make others Smile!

A Healthier Life
Florendo Astropabio wasnt overweight. In fact, many people
would be happy if their after picture looked like his before.
But Florendos journey was about learning healthy habits that
could transform his lifestyle.
Florendo spent much of his life being active. As he got older
and pursued his passion of being a special education teacher,
he found he had adopted unhealthy habits. As I got older I
would spend time socializing with my friends and that usually
centered around eating and drinking, he says. I wasnt
concerned with what I was putting in my body.

These habits led Florendo to lead a more sedentary lifestyle

and he frequently found himself without energy. His uncle
had success with the Forever F.I.T. program, so when the
F.I.T. Challenge was announced, he knew it was time to make
a change!
Florendo lost 30 pounds, built muscle and felt better than he
had in a long time. I have more energy to play with my children
and do things as a family, he explains. We live in the Virgin
Islands I am now able to enjoy that more and spend more
time being active.

Thats not all Florendo explains that his social life has actually
flourished since stopping his unhealthy habits. I now get to
meet people who share a common interest in being active and
athletic we have so much to talk about!

A Driving Force
Sam Jutba is passionate about helping other people. During
the process, he helped himself lose 30 pounds and built a
successful business. Sam is dedicated to truly making a
difference in the lives of others and theres no sign of him
slowing down.
Since joining Forever in July, 2014, Sam has built a solid
business, achieving Eagle Manager his first year and helping
countless others look and feel better.
I had a positive experience with the product. I lost 30 pounds
and my wife and daughter each lost over 20 pounds. People
started asking what we were doing to make this change in
our lives, he explains. We never meant to start this as a
business. Sam quickly realized the potential of Forever and the
F.I.T. program and how it could help him help others.
During the F.I.T. Challenge, Sam was able to sponsor 13 new
Forever Business Owners using the program! Sharing our
experiences with others has been a big way that weve been
able to build a sustainable business, he shares.
But for Sam, you can tell its about more than selling product,
its about helping others unlock their true potential in whatever
way he can. I received a scholarship when I was younger I
want to have the opportunity to help others as they have helped
me, he says. Its one of the things that I enjoy the most!

A Personal Victory
Alecs Escobar lost 24 pounds during the F.I.T. Challenge, but it
wasnt about what she lost. Alecs found inner confidence and a
whole new reason to smile!
When she was younger, Alecs felt incredibly confident. I
thought I was going to be the next plus-sized Victorias Secret
model, she shares. It wasnt until I got a bit older that I
realized that how I saw myself and how I felt on the inside
wasnt what other people saw.

As Alecs got older, she became more self conscious about

how she looked. I had always been very social, she explains.
I loved spending time with friends. But as time passed, I can
remember making excuses to avoid going to the beach with my
friends because I didnt want to have to wear a swimming suit.
After her father, Alwin Escobar, had an incredible experience
with Vital5, the F.I.T. Challenge was announced and Alecs
knew her opportunity had arrived. As she sits with her father,
who accompanied her to the Home Office, she smiles and
nods along in agreement when she tells us, Ive always been
really competitive so I knew that would be the extra motivation
I would need!
Over the course of the 100 day F.I.T. Challenge, Alecs lost 24
pounds but what she gained was even greater. Now, how I
look on the outside truly matches how I feel on the inside, she
says. And you can tell its true because when you see her, she
never stops smiling!
