28.4mm, this CMOS image sensor in APS-C format is unusually large for the compact camera class. De
spite the high resolution of over 16 megapixels, the individual pixels on the sensor are still very large and
collect a lot of light. Even in unfavorable lighting conditions. This is where the compact cameras of the XFamily reveal their true strengths: they enable photos with extremely low image noise, high dynamic range

The practical handgrip can be mounted on both the Leica X and the Leica
X Vario. It helps to compensate for the weight of the zoom lens and provides
a safer and steadier grip when shooting.

is an aid to safe and steady camera handling and also enables one-handed
shooting.

The lens hood is simply screwed on to the lens of the Leica XVario and
protects the front lens from rain and minor knocks. Picture contrast is also
increased as the lens hood efficiently eliminates many types of reflections.

The high-resolution, electronic accessory finder for the Leica X Vario and X-E
features 1.4 MP resolution and a 90 swivel function that enables shooting
from unusual angles, e.g. at ground level or from a birds-eye view. When
attached, all relevant information is displayed in the viewfinder.

MINI-HDMI CABLE

The accessory mirror finder in black with a 36mm bright-line frame is simply
slid into the accessory shoe of the LeicaX-E. It enables a clear view of the
subject, without putting strain on the battery.

The mini-HDMI cable allows a direct connection of the Leica X, the Leica
X Vario, and the Leica X-E to a TV with an HDMI port. This enables video
recordings and still pictures to be viewed in the best possible quality.

Its a good idea to take along as a spare battery to extend the joy of
photography.
