have current color coding of the month. Relevant
certification of the said items should be available.

transported upright and should secure properly by
using cylinder trolleys. Never bump or drag the
cylinders

All the welding machines should be grounded with
sufficient rods / cables. No damaged cables

Vehicular accidents

Flag man should be available for controlling the


traffic. Experienced Drivers shall be employed for
Transportation. Overloading of Trailers shall be
avoided. Transport Vehicle shall be in good
condition.

Fall of personnel

Place the ladder firmly on the firm level. Holding the


Ladder by a person to avoid slippage etc.
Scaffolding shall be Inspected and good for work
Should wear FBH and anchorage should be ensured.
Life line of minimum 10mm wire rope or 20mm PP
ropes should be installed and proper usage should
be ensured. Should wear FBH and anchorage should
be ensured. 100% tie-off policy shall be followed.
Ensuring the anchorage shall be monitored strictly.

Personnel working at heights

Use Correctly rated hoses. Provide physical


protection incase routed on ground.
Use flash back arrestors in both ends. check &
inspect the pressure before connecting to cylinders.
Approved Gauges shall be used. Spark Igniter shall
be used
Never use oil or grease at cylinder threads

softeners to avoid to sling from contact with sharp
edges. Un-authorized entry in to the area. Suitable
sign boards shall be provided. JSA should be
followed. Adequate supervision shall be ensured

All the rigging materials should be free from any


defects. Visual inspection by the rigger prior to the
activity has to be done. Monthly inspection of the
lifting gears shall be done by the competent person
and to be color coded. Test certificates or Relevant
certification of the said items should be available
and should be ensured before the commencement of
the job.
