General Intelligence (Verbal Reasoning) Questions

Argument, Assertion and Counter-argument:


An argument (or a Supporting reason) is a statement meant to convince another person about your point of view.
An Assertion is a point of view.
A Counter-argument contains logic opposing the assertion.
An Irrelevant Argument has no connection to the context of the Assertion-Supporting Reason-Counter Argument set.
Based on above definitions, classify each of the given sets of statements into:

Fact, Inference, Judgement:
A Fact is something which can be seen or heard, and is capable of verification.
An Inference is a statement drawn or following from a Fact.
A Judgement is an opinion, and implies approval or disapproval.
