RENOWN

The Renown has always been revered for its rock-solid craftsmanship
and excellent sonic performance. Gretsch still uses the proven and
unique Renown formula that combines North American Rock Maple with
a slightly softer maple species. Each drum is expertly completed with
smooth 30 bearing edges and Gretschs exclusive Silver Sealer interior
finish. Heavy-duty Gretsch die-cast hoops are fitted to all tom and snare
shells and classic Gretsch lugs adorn each drum. This Gretsch-engineered
shell/hoop combination produces explosive attack and power that
is rich with warm, low-end timbre.

Gretschs New Vintage Pearl is an extra-large

flake finish that adds a distinctive new style to the
Renown series. Gretsch is the first in the industry to incorporate
this specially developed extra-large flake size, produced in the USA
by Delmar. The reflective properties of the extra-large flake combined
with the vintage white patina, delivers an understated and timelessly
cool vibe. Maple bass drum hoops include matching Vintage Pearl inlay.
Individual snare drums, toms and bass drums are available.

New from Gretsch Drums, the Marquee Series has

professional features and rock solid performance at an accessible
price. Marquee shells are made from 7-ply North American maple
with a slightly softer maple species. Each drum is cut with classic
Gretsch 30-degree bearing edges and fit with 2.3mm triple flanged
hoops. This Gretsch-designed shell formula gives the Marquee
explosive, open attack with warm tones and deep sustain.
Shell exteriors are tinted and finished in a multi-step satin poly-finish
that produces deep colors but still allows the natural wood grain to
come through. Shell interiors are hand sanded and finished in a handapplied tint that seals the interior shell and adds a rich, distinctive
appearance. All drums include round Marquee badge and Remo
drum heads. Tom clamps are included. Individual drums are available.

CATALINA MAPLE

The Catalina Maple Series features

7-ply Gretsch formula maple shells
with 30-degree bearing edges.

Innovative and sleek hardware designs have been incorporated into the new
Gretsch Catalina Maple Series. Each component was redesigned to enhance
functionality, performance and style. The result is a terrific sounding
Gretsch drum set that provides a more ergonomic playing experience
and boasts a fresh, contemporary look.
The mounting hardware includes a round gas cap bass drum
mount plate, an ultra low profile GTS mounting system, reduced-mass
tom mount brackets and new single and double tom holders. Both tom
holders include a post hole for a 78-inch cymbal tube post (not included). The ball/
socket 12.7mm L-arms allow precise positioning and a secure hold. Gretsch T-Wing
screws and bolts are included on all fittings for drummer-friendly feel and rubber
isolators have been added to the die-cast bass drum claws to help keep bass drum
hoops looking new. A new black and gold Catalina Maple round badge completes the
newly transformed Catalina Maple Series.
The Catalina Maple shell is still the same time-tested 7-ply Gretsch-formula maple
shell with 30-degree bearing edges and natural shell interiors. Bass drums include
telescopic bass drum spurs and matching maple wood bass drum hoops. Toms/snare
feature 2.3mm triple flanged hoops. All drums are fitted with Remo drum heads.
New lacquer finishes include Satin Deep Cherry Burst and Walnut Glaze, and new
wrap finishes Aqua Sparkle and Black Bronze Sparkle.

The Catalina Ash Tom Mounting System is

completely redesigned, showing more of the
drum and making it easier to position.

Gretschs new Catalina Ash Series features fresh hardware appointments and Gretschformula ash shells for a contemporary look and sound. The 6-ply ash shells are made
without reinforcement rings for maximum resonance and have a 30-degree
bearing edge. When fitted with 2.0mm tripleflanged hoops the Catalina Ash produces
incredibly focuses tone with strong attack,
a balanced low end and superior dynamic range.
Gretschs new contemporary Catalina series
hardware features a round gas cap bass drum mount
plate with special G memory lock, ultra low-mass GTS tom
suspension, double tom holder with 78-inch hole for cymbal attachment
and Gretsch T-Wing screws and bolts for a drummer-friendly feel. Round
Catalina Ash badges adorn each shell.
Catalina Ash is available as a 5-piece configuration and comes in five finishes.
The Burst finishes feature an open grain ash shell exterior that accents the
wood's deep grain, giving the drum a stunning look that will be admired by all.
Shell interiors are sanded in a natural finish to enhance the visual beauty of the
wood grain. Add-on drums are available.

NEW CATALINA CLUB

The newly designed Gretsch Catalina Club Series blends traditional configurations
and classic tone with sleek, contemporary hardware innovations. Catalina Club
4-piece configurations are built around the foundation of the beloved 14-inch deep
bass drum that gives each of these sets their warm and punchy vintage tone.
New hardware components created for the Catalina Club give the series a distinctive
new Gretsch flair that pays homage to the company's rich tradition while infusing an
exciting and progressive personality.
The new hardware appointments include a round gas cap bass drum mount plate,
an ultra low profile GTS mounting system, reduced-mass tom mount brackets and new
single and double tom holders. Both tom holders include a post hole for a 78-inch cymbal
tube post (not included). The ball/socket 12.7mm L-arms provide positioning freedom
and a stable and secure hold.
Gretsch T-Wing screws and bolts are included on all fittings for drummerfriendly feel. The new silver and black Catalina Club round badge puts
the finishing touch on a drum set that is aesthetically enticing.
The commitment to Great Gretsch Sound dictated that the timetested Catalina Club shell not be tampered with. These classic mahogany
shells are still built with the same natural shell interior and 30-degree bearing
edge that made them famous.
Bass drums include telescopic bass drum spurs and matching wood bass drum hoops.
Toms and snare drums feature 1.6mm triple flanged hoops and all Catalina Club drums
are equipped with Remo drum heads, including coated batters and clear resonant
on toms and snares and a clear bass drum batter head with muffle ring. A muffle ring
is also included on the classic white Gretsch bass drum logo head. Catalina Club is
available in three configurations and eight finishes. Add-on drums are available.

Gretsch took it's ready-to-play Energy drum set and redesigned it to give it more
Gretsch features, more Gretsch sound and more Gretsch performance. Energy's
shells are 7-ply poplar with 30-degree bearing edges and are equipped with
1.5mm triple flanged hoops and Remo drum heads.
Newly-appointed mini lugs, tom brackets, tom holders, bass drum mount plates
and throw-offs are now distinctively Gretsch. An upgraded bass drum pedal
offers a more flexible beater angle adjustment, a two-way beater and smooth,
comfortable footboard. Energy's comes with all of the hardware needed to get
the aspiring drummer started, including a bass drum pedal, high-hat stand,
snare stand and boom cymbal stand. Energy kits also include a set of Sabian
SBR cymbals (13-inch hi-hats, 16-inch crash and 20-inch ride.)

Brooklyn Snare Drum Series. The snares feature knurled 2.0mm thick steel shells and are
