Every day in one of the streets of Vienna you could seea blind man playing th
e violin. His dog sat near himwith a cap in its mouth. People, who were
passing them,dropped coins into the cap.
One day, when the weather was very cold, the man was
playing for a long time, but nobody wanted to give him
anything. The poor man thought that he would have to
go to bed without supper. He was so tired and so weak
that he stopped playing.
At the moment a young man came up to him and asked
him why he had stopped playing. The blind man said he
had played for two hours but nobody had given him
anything. "Give me your violin. I shall help you", said the man. And with
these words he began to play. He
played so well that people began to gather and soon
there was a big crowd. Everybody was eager to listen to
the fine music and to thank the young man for the pleasure.
Soon the cap was full of money.
"I don't know how to thank you", said the blind man."Who are you?"
"I am Paganini", was the answer.

Svakoga dana na jednoj od ulica u Beu moete vidjeti slijepog ovjeka koji svira
violinu. Njegov pas sjedi pored njega sa kapom u svojim ustima. Ljudi koji su
prolazili isputali su mu novie u kapu.
Jednog dana, kada je bilo veoma hladno, ovjek je svirao veoma dugo, ali nko
mu nije htio dati nita. Jadni ovjek je smatrao da treba poi u krevet bez
veere. Bio je toliko umoran i slab da je prestao svirati.

U trenutku je mladi ovjek doao do njega i pitao ga zato je prestao svirati.

Slijepi ovjek mu je rekao da je svirao dva sata ali mu niko nije dao nita. Daj
mi svoju violinu. Ja u ti pomo, rekao je ovjek. I sa tim rijeima je poeo
svirati. Svirao je veoma dobro da su ljudi poeli da se sakupljaju i uskoro se
stvorila velika guva. Svi su eljeli uti dobru muziku i zahvaliti se mladom
ovjeku na ljubaznosti.
Uskoro je kapa bila puna para.

Jednom sam upoznao ovjeka koji je rekao da trai savrenu enu. Rekao mi je
da mu treba neko ko je prelijep, ljubazan, ko e ga voljeti i ko je veoma duhovno
orjentisan. I da pronaao je takvu enu. Ali to nije uspjelo. Rekao je da je
previe osjeajna da ne moe da se vee za praktine stvari u materijalnom
svijetu. Onda je naao nekoga ko je bio savren. Bila je lijepa, ljubazna,
zaljubljena, inteligentna, organizovana i praktina u materijalnim poslovima.
Bila je ba ono ta je traio. Ali on je rekao da to takoe ne funkcionie. Zato?

Serbia always better the second time around

RIO DE JANEIRO (Rio 2016 Olympic Games) - The way the United States
blew Serbia away in the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup Final, it's hard to
imagine a different winner on Sunday in the Olympic Gold Medal.
Serbia's players, though, are looking at things differently. And they should.
The Balkan nation is proving to be tough to beat twice in a tournament under
coach Sasha Djordjevic. In fact, it hasn't happened.
France (74-73) and Brazil (81-73) defeated Serbia in the Group Phase of the
World Cup but Djordjevic's team shifted into a higher gear in the knockout
stage and got revenge against both.
After thumping Greece in the Round of 16, Serbia walloped Brazil (84-56)
and then edged France, 90-85, to reach the title game.
A similar situation could be unfolding here at the Olympics. Serbia fell 9580 to Australia in Group A but then annihilated the Boomers in Friday's SemiFinal, 87-61.
That result has set up another encounter with the United States, a team that
scraped a 94-91 win against them in Group A. What has most of the fans
excited is that Serbia have a chance to write a much different script to what
happened two years ago when the Americans embarrassed them, 129-92.
"We're not frightened of anybody," Serbia forward Nikola Kalinic said. "We're
going to play a better game than we did two years ago. We're going to watch
video of the Group Phase game, so we'll prepare. We're going to go out there
and at least not let them win that easily. They're going to have to earn it."

Australia discovered on Friday that a prepared and focused Serbia is lethal.

"We let them beat us physically the first time," Kalinic said. "But we weren't
going to let anyone beat us physically two times in a row in one
championship. We went out there motivated, played physical basketball and
that gave us the result."
Even if they fall to the USA, Serbia will leave with a silver medal. That is not
something Djordjevic wants his players to contemplate.
"I have to not let them be satisfied right now," Djordjevic said after the
game. "The second we get in the (Olympic) Village, I will let them know they
have to rest, practice hard, get ready for the game."
Serbia's defeat to the Americans in Madrid was not ruinous. It didn't kill the
players. If anything, it seems to have made them stronger. They finished
fourth at EuroBasket 2015 and then qualified for the Olympics. It has given
them another shot at beating the USA in a huge game.
"My goal was, every two years, to play against the USA team, to understand
what it takes to play against champions like that," Djordjevic said. "They
have the all-stars and the coaching staff. It will be an honor but, trust me, it
will not be a pleasure."
