WATER TREATMENT
With High-Performance Adsorbents
Based On Ferric Hydroxide
Source of solutions.
ABOUT us
When founded in 1997 in Osnabrck /
Germany, GEH Wasserchemie was the
first and only company to produce a
granular adsorbent based on ferric
hydroxide. Our GEH granular ferric hydroxide, highly efficient and easy to use,
is now used successfully in water treatment worldwide.
All manufacturing and sales activities at
GEH are carried out in accordance with
the strict specifications of our certified
quality management system. We also
play a key role in drafting product standards for the industry, using our experience and our high requirements to set
the bar for ferric hydroxide adsorbents
used in drinking water treatment.

of heavy metals.
OUR PRODUCTS
AND SERVICES
GEH has undergone continuous development in recent years to ensure
highest customer satisfaction and provide optimization for a wide variety of
applications and their specific requirements.

PHOSPHATE REMOVAL
COPPER / ZINC REMOVAL
Starting with analyses of the raw water to be treated, we can propose design
and dimensioning of the treatment unit needed to do the job including recommendations for its subsequent operation.
Using laboratory tests and/or pilot trials, we can evaluate the adsorption capacity of GEH for your specific application and reliably predict the service lifetime
of your adsorption bed.

ARSENIC REMOVAL
Arsenic is a highly toxic element which
occurs naturally in numerous groundwater sources, endangering drinking
water supply in many areas of the
world. One region where this problem
is dramatically evident is the Ganges
Delta in India and Bangladesh. In 1992
the World Health Organization (WHO)
recommended a 10 g / L limit for
maximum permissible arsenic concentration in drinking water. This limit
has since been adopted by most countries throughout the world.
PHOSPHATE REMOVAL
Phosphorus is an essential nutrient for
all living organisms. However if phosphate levels are too high in bodies of
water such as lakes or rivers, eutrophication can result. Phosphate normally
enters the affected surface water as
a result of agricultural run-off from
fertilized fields or sewage effluent
discharge.
GEH 104 has proven its successful
track record as a phosphate adsorbent

over many years. Its outstanding adsorption capacity makes it ideal for
use in environmental water clean-up.
GEH 104 is also an excellent adsorbent
for secondary treatment of processed
wastewaters. Due to its high purity,
GEH 104 is also used to eliminate nutrients from lakes and other bodies of
water used for public swimming. Depending on the specific application,
the adsorbent can be used in fixed bed
units or underground filter barriers.
