Let us start the first step Kapalabhati. Active exhalation and passive
inhalation above 60 strokes per minute. One minute start.....calming down ,
allow your mind to settle down in the state of kevala kumbhaka. Feel the
deep inner quitetude. As you settel down in the state of natural cessation of
breath. Wait until the breath comes back......(to normal).
Observe the mind settling down into calmness. The next step in preparation
where we make the mind slow down further by Nadishuddhi pranayama.
Continue to sit with the spine erect. Bring the hands to nasagra
mudra.Practice 3 rounds of Nadishuddhi. Exhale throught left nostril .slow
continious smooth exhalation . Inhale through left feel the deep slow motion
of the air, exhale right.... inhale right ....exhale throught the left nostril
continue for three rounds. Feel the changing effect of this inhalation. As you
inhale Pure air entering and energises the body of the respective side;
exhalation cleanse the whole body as you breath out the impure air; continue
until you complete three rounds of nadishuddhi. Deep slow exhalation ,
exhalation becomes longer and longer than inhalation, deep intrernal
awarness and calm state of the mind is attained. Allow the mind to sink down
into the inner state of shanti and bliss.
Now move to the next step in the preparation of bhramari prnayama. Take a
deep inhalation through the nose and exhale making a low pitched humming
sound of a female honeybee m...... second round...... this time feel the
vibration of the humming spreading to the entire body . Inhale comfortably
