1. Incomplete application forms will not be considered.

2. Closing date for applications is 15 June for Vocational Scholarships and 31 July for Bridging
Bursaries.
3. Bursaries will only be allocated for the year following the one in which the application is received.
4. You must supply all the information requested, or explain why you cannot provide it.
5. Applicants applying for bursaries with less than a C Symbol (Higher Grade) in Mathematics and Science
will not be considered.
6. Do not attach original documents. Attach certified copies only.
7. Please note that as all our bursaries/scholarships are dependent on our future manpower requirements,
we are not always able to consider applications from students who have already commenced studies at
university. As this situation differs from year to year, we would advise you to re-apply the following year
should your application be unsuccessful for this reason.
8. A passport-size photograph of the applicant must be attached to the top right-hand corner of the front
page of the application form.
9. It is your responsibility to apply for entrance to university. We recommend that you apply to at least two
universities.
For your information we wish to advise you that our selection process on acceptance of your
application consists of two interviews.
