Water Curtain Nozzle

This document provides specifications for Angus water curtain nozzles used for open window drenching. The nozzles come in 4 K-Factors from 23-78 and connection sizes from 8-16.3 mm. They are tested vertically but can be used pendent or downward. Spacing between nozzles cannot exceed 2400mm and streams must contact the window 610mm from the top. Flow and pressure graphs are provided.

Water Curtain Nozzles with K-Factor 23, 39, 53 & 78 are tested in the vertical or upwards position, but
can be used in the pendent or downward position.
Test range 4 10 bar.
Extract from LPC drencher rules:
Drenchers must be fixed so that stream forms a water curtain contacting the window 610mm from the top.
Horizontal spacing of drenchers not to exceed 2400mm.
