    HOW TO APPLY
    The Bachelor of International Economics is a direct-entry, four-year undergrad-
    uate degree. Acceptance will be based on previous academic performance,
    evidence of relevant learning and achievements (both in and out of school),
    and other indicators of suitability. As the curriculum emphasizes international
    aspects of economics, admissions will be balanced between domestic and in-
    ternational applicants.

    Entrance to the program is highly competitive. Applicants are strongly encouraged


    to select it as their first choice of programs when applying to UBC. Prospective
    students are invited to apply online at you.ubc.ca.
