UNLP and Diplomatic Passports Exempted from fees at Immigration.


Somali Nationals 50 USD Visa Payment is required.
Immigration Forms to be filled in, available on UNHAS & International Flights.

Ground Handling

SKA Air and Logistics operates all ground handling at the airport

Hours of Operation

The airport operates from sunrise to sunset usually 0500 2000 hrs. Most Airlines stick to
0600 to 1800 hrs.

Sole provider for fuel is Supreme at Mogadishu

Air Starter
General Cargo and Baggage handling equipment
Marshaling
15,000 mt warehouse (Only for Transit cargo).

Airport Facilities and instructions

There is no navigation or landing system yet, (ILS system is being build expected to be in
service soon)
Large Cargo flights (DC-8 size) are recommend to land before noon so truck loading may
finish quickly, and the trucks and aircraft may depart prior to the end of daily airport
operations (1800hrs)
