The study of rules which generate an infinite number of grammatical. It’s about the English data. 2. Expalain about The basic unit of syntax ! The basic unit of syntax are words. It is also known as part of speech, lexical categories, and grammatical categories. 3. What is Phrasal categories ? We have evidence for the existence of phrasal categories such as NP, VP, PP and so on. We use that in syntax. 4. Expalin about Noun Phrase in your own words and give example ! Noun Phrase is group of words that worl together to name and describe a person, place, thing, or idea. For instance : 1). I have one cat 2). They are playing football in the school 5. What is Transitive verb and Intransitive in your own opinion ? Give example ! 7. What is difference between Preposition Phrase and Preposition ? If Preposition Phrase is a group of words made up of a preposition, its object, and any the object’s modifiers. So, Preposition is a word to connect or link nouns, pronouns or phrases to other words within a sentence. 8. Adverbial clauses are groups of words that function as an adverb, modifying an adjective, adverb, or a verb or verb phrase. To understand this, you need to know about clauses and the functions of adverbs. 12. Explain about Non-finite verbs !
