    In the last week in Al Drari kindergarten, I teach kindergarten 2 some lessons and I read some

    stories to them. I tried to finish the papers that I should stamp it in the school, I finish the tasks
    and the reflections. The teachers were not very good with us this week but we try to help them as
    much as we can to not let them feel that we don’t do anything.

    In this week I learned many strategies that the teacher used it with the children in the classroom
    and outside the classroom such as; the light strategy, the bell, and the eye contact to control the
    students and let them listen to me. In Thursday, they had the pajama day so me and my peer
    Fatima read the “ten little monkeys” story for the children in KG2 for six sections in the libirary,
    so it is fun and reviewing also for the numbers and counting. Children already know the song of
    the monkeys so they were excited when we read the story for them, and we tried to make some
    actions for the words in the story so they understand what it’s mean. We let them work together
    this day According to the Jigsaw “Cooperative learning gives students the opportunity to work
    with others and see different points of view.” (Top 5 Teaching Strategies , n.d.)

    I understand more about the questions and answers types when I observed the MST while she
    was teaching the students in this week, I learned much things from the MST such as how to read
    the story in better way and when should I ask the students about it, and the types of the questions
    that I should asking them. I tried to get ideas from the other teachers in the school about the
    strategies that they use it with the students that work with them, and try to know somethings that
    will help me as a future teacher.
