Oakview Elementary has set a goal to meet or exceed growth in reading, math, and science by June 2018. To achieve this, the school will focus on three key processes: 1) Implementing dynamic learning experiences through understanding by design; 2) Incorporating social-emotional learning to build relationships; and 3) Clearly communicating with families. Instructional teams will unpack standards, use common assessments, and engage students. Staff and students will develop learner profiles and review mindsets. The school will communicate regularly through various channels to share information with families.
