Mrs. Nancy F. Saez demonstrated a mathematics lesson for her fellow teachers using new interactive materials. The observer was tasked with documenting how the interactive materials were used throughout the lesson. Most students were able to score perfectly on the evaluation after engaging with the interactive materials and completing the tasks and activities. The demonstration taught the observer new teaching techniques that could be useful for their own teaching career.

My Reflection

Date: September 19, 2018

SITUATION: It is the first day of the Demonstration teaching of the


Mathematics Group. Everybody was nervous especially the first Demo teacher
Mrs. Nancy F. Saez. We are all curious of what could be the effect of the
intervention material that we are going to utilize during the demo.

TASK: I was task to cover all the Demonstration Teaching to be done by my


co-math teachers. Aside from this, we are tasked to demonstrate the utilization
of the interactive material to be used all throughout the lesson.

ACTION: The demo started at around 1PM. The principal, Mrs. Aida C.
Gutierrez, together with all the Math teachers are present to observe on the
Demo of Mrs. Saez. Everyone is expected to observe keenly on the specific use
and function of the interactive material she has chosen. As the documenter, I
kept an eye on how the IMs were used according to the flow of the lesson proper.

results: Based on what I have seen, the project AIM was somehow
effective because almost all of the students were able to get a perfect score on
the evaluation part. And they were able to perform the tasks and activities given
to them with the use of the given IM.

reflection: based on what I have observed, the demo done was


indeed meaningful because it is not just the learners who learned but also her
co-teachers especially me. Being new in the field of teaching requires a lot of
experiences. And this demo has taught me a lot of techniques which I can also
use in my teaching career.
