How is Biogas Produced ?
Micro-organisms degrade organic matter under anaerobic
conditions.
In nature this process can be found in the stomachs of ruminants or
in swamps.
This natural principle is simulated in a biomethanisation plant.
During anaerobic fermentation biogas is produced from:
