LM1877 Dual Audio Power Amplifier

February 1995

LM1877
Dual Audio Power Amplifier
General Description n Wide supply range, 6V–24V
n Very low cross-over distortion
The LM1877 is a monolithic dual power amplifier designed to
n Low audio band noise
deliver 2W/channel continuous into 8Ω loads. The LM1877 is
designed to operate with a low number of external compo- n AC short circuit protected
nents, and still provide flexibility for use in stereo phono- n Internal thermal shutdown
graphs, tape recorders and AM-FM stereo receivers, etc.
Each power amplifier is biased from a common internal regu- Applications

point centering. The LM1877 is internally compensated for
n Stereo phonographs
all gains greater than 10.
n Tape recorders and players
n AM-FM radio receivers
Features n Servo amplifiers
n 2W/channel n Intercom systems
n −65 dB ripple rejection, output referred n Automotive products
n −65 dB channel separation, output referred
