YELLOW 2-SCRIPT.

FREESTYLE:
3 PULL 1 BREATHE (5 Minutes-Bilateral breathing)
-Okay still remember in Y1 we learn about 2 pull 1 breath. So this time in Y3 we are
going to do 3 pull 1 breath. How many pull before you breath? (suggestopedia)
–Now, Everyone look at me, I’m going to show to you and after that I want you to do
it okay? (Demos where everyone can see, infront,side)
– so now, we start with the split arm kick, 3 pull and breath.
-So this time, let’s do it one by one, we start with your left arm; swim toward me and
get back to the wall (Triangle or square if applicable)-(kinaesthetic aid)-(Arm, head position)-
(Hand pull timing-continuously) – Ready go!
*(Remind them not to jump when push off, arm straight, head position)

- After correction, assume they’ve have shown some improvement, praise and
encourage them. (High five!, Good Job!)

BACKSTROKE:
4 KICK 1 PULL-POP &SWAP (5 Minutes)
-Okay still remember in Y1 we learn BACKSTROKE 4 kick, pop and swap. So this time
instead of 4 kick we are going to do continuous pull (pop and swap). This time we are going
to do? (suggestopedia)

-Arms split position; remember when you pull I want you to turn/pop your shoulder and pull
and make sure your thumb go up and your pinkly go down.
– When your hand in the water, sweep your hand and you will feel heavy while pushing
down and finish at the side of your thigh. Okay guy, Thumb up, pinky down okay!

-Group__ready go! (Group teaching)


BREASTSTROKE:
KICKING;
KICKING-SITED (3-5 minutes)
- So from R1 until Y1 you all already learn Freestyle and Backstroke right? So today
we are going to learning another stroke called BREASTstroke. So everyone get up
and sit on the pool deck.
- Everyone look at me, Let me show you how to do. (Demos)
- We going to learn BS kicking. So this time I want you to open your legs, and your
toes must be pointing up like L shape.
- Bent your knees and make sure your foot touching the wall.
- So now; first slowly straighten your legs, remember your toes is still the L shape.
Second clap your feet together faster and return to the bent position.

- Okay! Now I want everyone to do this and I will see who do it correctly.

(At this point kinaesthetic aid is required, emphasis on the L shape toes)

KICKING-TUMMY (3-5 minutes)


- Everyone look at me first, Let me show you how to do. (Demos with one student first)
- Bent your knees up slowly.
- Straighten your legs; remember your toes are still the L shape. Second clap your feet
together faster and return to the bent position.

- Okay! Now I want everyone to do this and I will see who do it correctly.

- Okay! I’m now going to count to 10. –assume everyone in a satisfactory level
(At this point kinaesthetic aid is required, emphasis on the L shape toes)

KICKING-HEAD AND ARM ON POOL DECK (3-5 minutes)* instructor kinaesthetic aid.
- Okay now, I want everyone put their whole leg down and arm on the deck. I will go
one by one hold your leg and ask your to kick okay.
- (Technical aid) okay remember, bent knee slow, straighten legs medium and clap it
together faster!
- Alright good job everyone!
KICKING-HOLDING THE WALL (3-5 minutes)*
- Alright! Hands holding the wall, arm straight, face looking down and BreastStroke
kick. Remember to take a deep breath before putting your face down.
- Okay! Now I want everyone to do this and I will see who do it correctly.
- Okay! I’m now going to count to 10. –assume everyone in a satisfactory level
(At this point kinaesthetic aid is required, emphasis on the L shape toes)

KICKING-WITH BOARD (Face up/Face down)


-Now we are going to do Breaststroke kick with a board
