Chapter 1 Process Background

process route and safety issues in the process
selection.

basis.
• The screening process is clearly summarized
using table or graph.
Process Flow Diagram (PFD) • The PFD is complete including all streams (input
and output), major equipment and labels.
• The PFD is created based on their own ideas.
• All streams and equipment in the PFD are
labelled completely.
Process Details • Clear information and arranged in logical
manner.
• Chemical kinetics, formula and the
thermodynamics for the reactions involved are
presented.
Supply and Demand • Raw materials price (Malaysian Ringgit).
• Product demand and supply in Asia and around
the world.
Assumptions and limitations are explained
Break Even Analysis • Proper analysis that includes variable cost and
product price are presented.
• Relevant graph with justification on production
rate.
• State limitations in the breakeven analysis.
Conclusion • Effective deduction with strong justification.

Chapter 2 Site Location

Site Location Data • At least three criteria of the selected location
are considered and discussed.
• Information to illustrate the location, the GPS
coordinate, the road map.
Criteria of the Site Selection • Provide >7 elements required for the selection.
