The drill was coordinated with the local disaster risk reduction management council and participants were oriented on earthquake preparedness. During the drill, participants practiced "duck, cover, and hold" when the siren sounded and evacuated in a peaceful and orderly manner to the designated evacuation area, where a headcount was performed.     EXPLANATION:

    Isla Elementary School teachers and pupils actively participated


    in the 3rd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) last February
    15, 2018. SDRRM Coordinator Noel J. Corpuz gave some tips on what to do
    during and after an earthquake.
