ABSTRACT
Healthcare reach to the poor people is of utmost concern as they have neither technology nor
funds to afford necessary check-ups or treatments. Fatal diseases are not diagnosed in the early
stage due to lack of regular check ups.
Our project aims to provide a solution to such problems by establishing Electronic Medical
Booths, creating a network of Electronic Medical Booths and regional government hospitals.
This will not only provide health care facilities reaching mobile backward areas, Primary
treatment, Free primary check up and healthcare reach for the poor but will also include Proper
guidance by the certified practitioners.
A Database will be generated - regional and then nation wide. The database will be further used
for more efficient and effective health sector budget, schemes and plans by government.
Our mini Electronic Medical Booth can accurately measure three parameters namely-
2. Heart Rate- A normal resting heart rate for adults ranges from 60 to 100beats per minute.
Generally, a lower heart rate at rest implies more efficient heart function and better
cardiovascular fitness. For example, a well-trained athlete might have a normal
resting heart rate closer to 40 beats per minute.
3. Body temperature- It is a measure of your body's ability to make and get rid of heat. The
body is very good at keeping its temperature within a safe range, even when temperatures
outside the body change a lot.
In most adults, a fever starts at an oral or axillary temperature of 37.6°C (99.7°F) or a rectal
or ear temperature of 38.1°C (100.6°F). A child has a fever when his or her rectal
temperature is 38°C (100.4°F) or higher or armpit (axillary) temperature is 37.6°C (99.7°F)
or higher. Infants less than 3 months old with a rectal temperature of 38°C (100.4°F) or
higher or an armpit (axillary) temperature of 37.3°C (99.1°F) or higher should be seen by a
doctor.
