Contemporary Art: is the art of today, of the
20th or 21st century. It is globally influenced,
culturally diverse, and technologically
advancing the world.
Silhouettes: A dark shape of something
visible against a lighter background.
Victorian era: (1837-1901) The era was a
strong religious drive for higher moral
standards led by churches.
Value: the lightness or darkness of a colors.
Value is achieved when white (tint) or black
(shade) is added to a color.
Appropriation: the use of pre-existing objects
or images with little or no transformation
applied to them.
