understanding of academic text.
B. Performance Standard: The learners produces a detailed abstract of information gathered from the
various academic text read.
I. Objectives: At the end of the lesson the learners should be able to:
1. Define academic writing and distinguish it from other kind of writing.
2. Identify the purpose, audience, language, and style of academic writing.
3. Analyze sample text using the standards of academic writing.
4. And situate academic writing in the Phil. Context.

writing assignments that you have done?
