    Remarks:
    For NPS 4 and larger, the Nominal Diameter (DN) is equal to the NPS multiplied by 25.

    NPS 12 and smaller pipes have outside diameters greater than the size designator in inches. Outside
    diameters of NPS 14 and larger pipes are the same as the size designator in inches.

    The inside diameter depends on the pipe wall thickness specified by the schedule number.
