Minimum  Technical  Requirements  -­‐  3P  Learning  Products  
 
Dear  Parent,  
 
Our  platforms  are  fast  and  stable  –  almost  all  users  will  be  able  to  access  the  websites  without  any  
problems.  However,  settings  on  some  computers  may  cause  parts  of  the  programs  to  act  differently.  
If  you  are  experiencing  any  issues  when  trying  to  log  on  at  home,  there  are  a  couple  of  simple  things  
you  can  check…  
 
Minimum  system  requirements:  
•  Windows  XP  Service  Pack  3  or  Mac  OS  10.5  and  above  
•  1GB  of  RAM  (Win  XP)  or  2GB  of  RAM  (Win  Vista/7)  
•  Screen  Resolution  of  1024x768  
•  Internet  Explorer  8  or  Mozilla  Firefox  12  
•  Pop-­‐ups  enabled  
•  Cookies  enabled/set  to  accept  
 
If  you’re  experiencing  issues  logging  on  or  accessing  specific  areas,  try  the  following:  
 
 
1)  Install  the  latest  version  of  Adobe  Flash  Player  –  at  least  11.4  
Go  to  http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer  and  download  Flash  onto  your  system.  
 
2)  Enable  JavaScript        

   For  Internet  Explorer:            For  Mozilla  Firefox:  


1. Select  “Tools”  from  the  top  menu   1. Select  “Tools”  from  the  top  menu  
2. Choose  “Internet  Options”   2. Choose  “Options”  
3. Click  on  the  “Security”  tab   3. Choose  “Content”  from  the  top  menu  
4. Click  on  “Custom  Level”   4. Tick  the  box  next  to  “Enable  JavaScript”  
5. Scroll  down  to  “Scripting”   and  click  OK.  
6. Under  “Active  Scripting”,  tick  “Enable”  and    
“OK”.  
 
3)  Clear  your  cache  (internet  browsing  history)    

   For  Internet  Explorer:          For  Mozilla  Firefox:  


1. Click  “Tools”   1. Click  “Tools”  
2. Click  “Delete  Browsing  History”   2. Click  “Clear  Recent  History”  
3. Select  “Temporary  Internet  Files”   3. Time  Range  to  Clear  =  “Everything”  
4. Click  “Delete  Files”   4. Click  “Cache  and  Cookies”  
5. Click  “Yes”.   5. Click  “Clear  Now”.
