I. Objectives At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to be able to:
1. Name the different spheres of the Earth.
2. Differentiate those 3 spheres.
3. Draw something and identify which part of their drawing is said to be part of a certain sphere.
A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate an understanding of:
2. the subsystems (geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere, and biosphere) that make up the Earth
3. the Earth’s internal structure
B. Performance Standards Conduct a survey or design a study to assess the possible hydrometeorological hazards that your community may experience.

3. Recognize the uniqueness of Earth, being the only planet in the solar system with properties necessary to support life. S11/12ES -Ia-e-3

IV. Procedure Routine activities such as picking up of dirt, arranging of seats and checking of attendance will be conducted before the start of the lesson.
The students will be asked to get a piece of bond paper and a pencil and they will be asked to draw their favorite or dream destination.
After which, the students will then be introduced to the topic during the day which is all about the different spheres of the Earth.
They will try to name the different spheres and different them from the others.
After the short discussion, the students will then name and identify to which category of the spheres of the Earth the different parts of their drawing fall into.

I. Objectives At the end of the session, the students are expected to be able to:
1. Give concrete answers to questions which will be asked from them.
2. Practice independence and develop trust in ones’ judgment in answering questions.
3. Show honesty in checking their answers.
A. Content Standards The learners demonstrate an understanding of the formation of the universe and the solar system
B. Performance Standards The learners shall be able to:
1. Conduct a survey to assess the possible geologic hazards that your community may experience.
C. Learning Competencies Describe the different hypotheses explaining the origin of the solar system.

IV. Procedure Routine activities will be conducted, such as picking up of dirt, arranging of seats and checking of attendance, before the start of the lesson.
A very brief recap about the things which have been discussed will be conducted before the start of the quiz.
After the recap, the students will be informed about the mechanics of the quiz.
MECHANICS: The students will be getting a sheet of paper. They will write their seat # on the left uppermost part of their respective papers. After which, questions
will be read aloud and the students will be answering and checking the questions one at a time. The twist in this quiz is that the students will be moving from one
chair to the next, and their movement will either be forward or backward, depending on the accuracy of their answers. The goal of the students at the backmost
part of the class is to be able to move to the seats in front. Meanwhile, those students sitting in fronts’ goal is to maintain their position. They will be able to achieve
that if they are able to get correct answers as much as they can.
The result of the quiz will be consolidated at the end of the class. Their final seat number will be written below the number of their original seats.

1. Correctly answer at least 80% of the questions from the questionnaire given to them.
2. Show honesty and independence in answering the test questions.
3. Actively participate in answering and checking of the questions.

IV. Procedure Routine activities such as checking of attendance, picking up of small pieces of dirt and arranging of seats will be done first before the start of the classes.
A short recap about what happened during the previous meeting will be given by at least one or two students in order to refresh the concepts in their minds.
After which, a worksheet will be distributed to them in order to measure how much information and skills during the previous weeks were gained by them.
The worksheets will be answered in a limited time only and it will be checked later on after everyone is finished in answering the test.
Some students will be called in order to show their solutions on the board and explain how they were able to come up with their answers. This will be done
simultaneously while checking.
Then, the answer sheets will be collected in order to know how the students performed during the test.
