1. Introduction :
Greetings from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to all candidates who have appeared for Amrita Entrance
Examination Engineering ( AEEE ) 2019 & also those who have applied through JEE Mains 2019.

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will conduct the Seat Allotment Process online for admission to B.Tech
programmes offered at Amrita Schools of Engineering at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Coimbatore and Chennai.
There is no need for the candidates to visit the respective campuses to participate in the allotment process.
Registration for Seat Allotment Process is also fully online. JEE Mains-2019 All India rank can be entered at
the time of registering for the Seat Allotment Process 2019.

All the Candidates are requested to read the seat allotment instructions carefully, before participating in the
Seat Allotment Process 2019.

3. Eligibility Criteria:
Age: Candidates born on or after 1st July, 1998.
Educational Qualification:
A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% aggregate of marks in
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 50% in each of these three subjects.

4. Seat Allocation Process:

 Registration Info.
 Registration for Seat Allotment Process will start on May 15th, 2019.
 Registration fee to participate in the Seat Allotment Process is Rs. 5000/- (Rupees Five thousand only).
 Registration fee is refundable only if the candidate fails to get any academic preference even in the last
round of Seat Allotment and upon receipt of requisition from the candidate.
 Registration does not guarantee a seat or admission.

4.1. Phase 1 – Registration :

Link has been provided in the Result we directing you to the Registration page (amrita.edu/btech)
 May 15th, 2019 – Registration for Seat Allocation Process opens at 05:00 PM.
 You can register by login to our official website (amrita.edu/btech) with your Application No. and
Date of Birth. Please ensure your correct E-Mail ID & Mobile Number is updated in the Registration
process as all further communication will be to this mobile number and e-mail ID.
In case you have appeared for JEE Main only or both AEEE - 2019 and JEE Main, you will have to enter
your AEEE - 2019 Rank and the marks obtained in JEE Main, Enter your +2 / HSC Marks.
If you do not meet our eligibility criteria i.e. not obtained the qualifying marks in +2 / HSC as specified
in the eligibility criteria, you will not be allowed to proceed further for completion of the Registration
formalities. You will be opted out of the Registration process.
If you have obtained qualifying marks, then the next step is to select your preference of Campus and
Branch.
NOTE :
You will have to specify Minimum one choice of campus and branch. Multiple choices of Campus and
branch is allowed i.e. You may choose as many number of campuses and branches as preferred.
Options available - 4(campuses) and 29(Branches).
Please enter only valid and preferred Choices. If any one of the choices as entered by you is allotted
and then if you feel that it is not your preferred choice, you may lose the Counselling Registration
charges of Rs.5,000/- and you cannot continue in counseling process thereby missing a chance for
admission. Do not enter unwanted choices.
Repetitions are not allowed - Same choice of campus and branch should not be repeated.
Reconfirm your choices of campus and branch. Your reconfirmed choices will be locked.
Now, you will be directed for payment of counselling registration charges of Rs.5,000/-. Upon
successful completion of payment, you will be prompted to print your copy of preferred choices of
campus and branch.
In case of any difficulty in the Registration process, please contact in person the Admission Office at any
of our four campuses; AMRITAPURI, BENGALURU, CHENNAI, COIMBATORE during working hours on
weekdays.

 May 24th, 2019 – Registration will close at 08:00 PM.

4.2. Phase 2 - Seat Allotment (Trial)
 May 27th , 2019
 Trial allotment is published for the candidates to know their indicative position and understand the
possibility of getting allotment in one of their academic preferences.
 You will have to login with the Application No. and Date of Birth to check your trial allotment.
 Trial Allotment does not guarantee admission since changing of the academic preferences after trial
allotment is allowed and it may change the position displayed in the trial allotment.
 Provision to change your allotted campus and branch will be opened on the same day. If you want
to change your academic preferences, you may then change after the OTP verification. (OTP will be
sent to your Registered Mobile Number)
 Once you change your preference, Campus and Branch opted during Registration process will be
cancelled and the changed option will be considered as final.
 May 28th , 2019
 Provision to change the academic preferences will be closed on May 28th, 2019. No further
communication in this regard will be entertained after May 28th, 2019.
 It is advisable to keep a printed copy of the academic preferences.

Status of a candidate after each round of allotment.

Candidates will belong to one of the following three categories after the payment:
i) Allotted, confirmed:
 Candidate has accepted the allotted academic preference in a particular round and is not interested
in upgradation in the subsequent rounds. Candidates who have been allotted their first preference
will not be allowed for opting another preference.
 Candidate will have to pay the partial tuition fees (Rs. 1,00,000/-) while accepting and confirming
the allotment within the stipulated date failing by which the allotment made will stand cancelled
and the candidate will not be considered for subsequent rounds of seat allotment.
ii) Allotted, Accepted, sliding requested:
 Candidate accepts the seat allotment and however wishes to upgrade to a higher academic
preference.
 Candidate needs to pay the partial tuition fees online (Rs.1,00,000/-) within the stipulated date in
order to be considered for upgradation in the subsequent rounds.
 If the candidate fails to pay the partial tuition fee, allotment made will stand cancelled and
candidate will not be considered for subsequent rounds of seat allotment.
iii) Waiting list:
 A candidate who has not been allotted any seat as per his/her academic preference shall
automatically continue to be considered for allotment of a seat in the subsequent rounds of seat
allotment.
 If a candidate fails to secure an allotment as per his/her submitted academic preferences even at the
the last round of seat allotment, University shall refund the registration fee already paid by the
candidate.
Allotment will stand cancelled if a candidate who has been allotted any one of the academic preferences
and fails to pay the initial partial tuition fee within the stipulated date. These candidates shall also be
removed from subsequent rounds of seat allotment.

6. Refund Policy for Seat Allotment Process – 2019

 Refund will be made as per the norms of UGC. The Counselling processing fee (Rs.5,000/-) is NON-
REFUNDABLE,
 Refund will be made only after submission of original fee receipt, Provisional Seat Allotment Letter and no
dues certificate. The refund will be made through account transfer to the account number mentioned in
the withdrawal request. Hence, the correct bank account details may be provided in the withdrawal
request.
