ADHESION TEST REPORT

ADHESION TEST PROCEDURE VERIFICATION:

) Frequency of adhesion test shall be performed in compliance with Project Specification
) If any painting/coating failed the adhesion test, the adjacent field girth welds areas, before and after, shall be tested until acceptable
painting/coating are found on both sides of the defective coating.
c) The defective painting/ coatings shall be completely removed and re-painted/coated.
d) At least one of the repaired area shall be re-inspected and the subsequent inspection frequency for adhesion test shall be performed

TEST RESULTS : CONDITIONS FOR REJECTION (Fail)

A. Partial or complete adhesion failure between the coating and metal substrate constitutes a failure
B. Cohesive failure caused by voids in the coating (honeycomb) constitutes a failure.
