1. General

 Once the system is set to a desired vehicle speed, the engine throttle position is adjusted automatically
to maintain the vehicle speed at that speed without depressing the accelerator pedal.
This system is standard equipment.
 With this system, the ECM directly controls the throttle valve to operate the vehicle at a fixed speed because
it has adopted the ETCS-i (Electronic Throttle Control System-intelligent).
 The cruise control ECU is integrated with the ECM.
