    TITLE:- Online Vehicle Parking Booking System

    INTRODUCTION:-
    This project is about “Vehicle parking booking system” of any building or malls, it
    is automated reciept generated software with every essential details.

    OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE:-


    Currently most of the existing vehicle parking system are manually managed and
    a little inefficient. In urban areas where number of vehicles are higher as
    compared to the availability of parking spaces, a lot of time being wasted in
    searching parking locations.
    Hence, online vehicle parking booking system is a proposed method that users
    can reserve their parking places using web. The user can book for parking slot at
    home, at any time. Parking owners can add their parking places.
    It is a system that enables customers / drivers /users to reserve a parking space. It
    allows them to view the parking status at selected location. It is developed
    because the congestion and collision of the vehicles.

    TECHNOLOGY:-

    HARDWARE SPECIFICATION:-
    Processor:- Pentium 4 and higher version.
    RAM:- 512 MB or higher
    Hard disk:- 10GB HDD, keyboard, mouse.

    SOFTWARE SPECIFICATION:-
    Front End:- java, javascript
    Back End:- MySQL
    Operating System:- Windows 10

    Existing System:-
     Many parking areas use the manual or paper based system for customesr
    parking booking, data storage and payments.
     The system cannot be accessed online.

    Proposed System:-
     This system is web based.
     Users can get learn about parking areas for particular location.
     User can pay online on spot and confirm their booking space.
     The system generates online bill for required time and even send an e-mail.
     Cost-effective.
     It saves user time in search of parking space available is such a long parking
    area.

    LIMITATIONS:-
     It requires an internet connection.
     It requires large database.

    Future Enhancement:-
     The system can be modified to add another provision of handling.
     We can add different module to increase the efficiency of the system.
     Updating of the system is possible.
     We can make this system as IoT based software.
