This two-day workshop aims to help therapists better understand and treat avoidant clients who have experienced trauma. The workshop will be led by Dr. Robert Muller, an expert in trauma therapy and author of the bestselling book "Trauma and the Avoidant Client." Drawing on attachment theory and clinical experience, Dr. Muller will demonstrate strategies for developing therapeutic relationships with hard-to-treat avoidant clients to help them regain trust and face vulnerabilities. Participants will learn techniques for engagement, working with affect, recognizing transference, and effectively managing countertransference to assist clients in mourning losses.
