The key takeaways are about the conjunctions of the Sun, Moon and Rahu, and how Jupiter influences different houses according to Jamini astrology.

Rahu represents goals set by the universe, adventures, surprises and breaking boundaries. It eclipses the Sun and Moon during conjunctions and can create ego and deception.

The Moon represents the mind, emotions and mother. It gets most influenced during conjunctions and its phase at birth impacts it positively or negatively.

SUN AND RAHU CONJUNCTION

What is Rahu?
Rahu is the north node of the Moon, and is a head without a body that keeps devouring things without ever
being satisfied. It has a desire for material things and worldly accomplishments. It wants to achieve the
highest success possible in whatever house and sign he represents. Rahu represents the goals that have
been set by the universe for us to achieve whether we like or not. Rahu is mainly known as the eclipse, and
it eclipses the Moon and the Sun whenever it's in conjunction with them. This means temporary darkness
upon the native's life when the Sun and Rahu are in conjunction in a birth horoscope. Rahu also brings fear
and stressful situations into our lives. This is due to Rahu's adventurous nature that loves surprises. With
Rahu, sudden events take place; events that may not be a real part of our lives but rather an illusion that
becomes reality. Rahu is taboo breaking and crosses all kinds of boundaries. It wants to be unique and
break tradition; to think outside the box. He is also responsible for spiritual breakthroughs, because only
after achieving material wealth does one seeks God.

The Sun and Rahu are direct enemies. They can't stand each other as one is the king and the other is a
thief. But when they are forced to be in one house, Rahu takes full advantage of its chameleon-like nature
to plague the Sun King. Rahu transforms himself into the Sun which creates a double ego, or a double
standard in ego. On one hand this person has tremendous confidence and ego to be recognized as a
genius and leader in the world, while on the other hand Rahu wants to sneak its way into power by cheating
and hiding the real truth from people. These leaders may look honest and sincere when it comes to being
concerned for other's welfare, but there is an underlining angle of deception. This is due to the fact that
Rahu eclipses the Sun's positive behavior when Rahu transforms himself into the Sun. This lasts till the age
of 35 at minimum, after which Rahu starts to remove his eclipse and the real Sun shines.

Since the Sun represents our father and father figures, the relationship with the father and his teachings are
interrupted or completely foreign when Rahu enters the picture. Rahu simply means unusual or unusual
circumstances. This could manifest as an estranged relationship from the father; either the father was far
away from the native living in foreign lands or the relationship was strained. A false sense of ego comes
upon the native, where it not only hurts the person professionally, but also in their personal life as well.
However, with every conjunction there is good and bad, and the good really shines when these people are
in performing arts, politics, and or entrepreneurs. Although internally this person may lack confidence and
suffer from low self-esteem, they wear a pretty thick veil in front of the world.

If the Sun is exalted in Aries or in his own sign of Leo with Rahu, then the Sun will be able to handle himself
far better than being in any other sign. Here, the Sun will be able to lower the chances of Rahu trying to be
the deceiver or cheater, and the person will have a much better relationship with their father. When a planet
is strongly placed in a sign, Rahu amplifies those qualities of the planet rather than eclipsing them.

MOON AND RAHU CONJUNCTION

About The Moon:
One thing to understand about the Moon is that it's the one planet in astrology that gets influenced the most
when in conjunction. The Moon is a dark, cold, and lifeless place, but it is revived due to the light from the
Sun. This is why each planet brings his or her own reflection upon the Moon through which it shows its
color, lust, and quality. One thing to remember about the moon is the day of the phase you were born on.
There are two phases in the astrology that are considered malefic and benefic for the Moon. Waxing Moon
is benefic, while Waning Moon is malefic; depending upon which phase you were born into, it will either
work for you or against you in certain cases.
Moon and Rahu conjunction:
What is Moon?

The Moon in astrology represents your mother, or motherly figures, your emotional response to your
environment, and your imagination, since the Moon is your mind. The Moon shows the way you think and
react to situation. How emotional or un-emotional you are depends upon the condition of the Moon. The
Moon is also a watery planet, as it controls the sign of Cancer.

The Moon controls government. Since it is not as strong as the Sun, it represents our local or state
government versus the federal government.

When the Moon and Rahu are in conjunction, it can amplify fear, anxiety, and unusual depression.
Depression comes from the effect of Saturn, and Rahu is in the shadow of Saturn. It gives you illusions
about things that really do not exist. This is why these people have unrealistic expectations for themselves
and others, and when they do not come true, they go into a depression.

Rahu is about taboo breaking and unusualness, and when in tight conjunction with the Moon, emotions
need a unique validation to sustain the mind. This can start anywhere from the need to be in a foreign land,
to dissecting human beings, or experimenting with drugs. Rahu is that uncontrollable desire within us, and
when the mind or Moon is sitting with him, there is an emotional need to fulfill that desire. This can easily
lead to infidelity due to Rahu's nature to indulge without ever being satisfied. These people have lust for life,
sex, relationships and exploration. If Rahu and the Moon are less than 5 degrees apart, then it will
extremely hard for these people to stay put, or stay and focus on one thing. Marriage will become a chore
sooner than expected if such a combination occurs in 1st, 2nd, 7th and 8th House. Most people keep their
fetishes to themselves, but these people actually take steps to fulfill those desires, whether it's having an
affair with their married neighbor, having sexual or violent fantasies, or the desire to hurt someone.

Rahu, which is the energy of doing things outside the box marries the mind (Moon). This native thinks in a
unique way, and the solution is never common and it's always unconventional.

If there is a person in your life who loves living with drama, most likely they their moon is in a tight
relationship with Rahu. The dramatization of events and relationships become excitement for these people
because the unsatisfied Rahu craves for more conflicts. These are the so called pioneers and innovators of
their generation. Best example: Mahatma Gandhi.
MERCURY AND RAHU CONJUNCTION
Who is Rahu?

When Mercury and Rahu come into conjunction, communication, speech, intelligence, and the skills of
one’s hands are amplified and expanded quickly and drastically. Rahu likes Mercury due to his neutral,
nonjudgmental nature. This native will have an explosive, exotic, and unique form of speech, and will talk
about things that might be very unconventional for the real world. They are extremely clever and have
excellent communication skills which enable them to do anything they like, especially in the fields of sales,
marketing, public relations, and public speaking. They have the gift of uniqueness, and their approach to life
and its blueprint are unconventional and taboo breaking.

Rahu acts like Jupiter when it comes in conjunction with other planets. Like Jupiter expands the quality of
other planets, Rahu, also does the same but at a larger, quicker, scale. Jupiter expands the sawtic qualities
in a planet while Rahu expands either rajsic or tamasic qualities of planets. Rahu makes Mercury's
intelligence not just quick, but witty and clever; clever in a sense that Mercury is able to get what he wants
when he wants from people even if the other is not ready to give it. They are natural salesmen who will take
your money without you ever knowing you gave it to them. Jupiter enhances the pure spiritual quality,
whereas Mercury will think of what he is doing to the other before taking advantage of them. In today's
world of 2013 and beyond, it is very necessary to be more like Rahu than Jupiter. After all, this is the age of
Rahu.

When speaking publicly, these people might talk about sex, drugs, women, and pleasure with a sense of
spirituality. They will be able to justify and sell the idea of breaking taboos to their audience. If they write a
book, it might be about promiscuous affairs, sex, interracial connections, and foreign lands. This not only
makes a clever salesman, but a genius computer programmer and mathematician because Rahu in this
age also represents computers along with quick calculations. If you are looking for someone to sell all the
cars in your lot, find a person with Rahu and Mercury conjunction in the 3rd, 6th or 10th House where
salesmanship is at its best.
When Venus and Rahu are in conjunction, it shows amplification and ballooning of things related to love,
relationships, and luxurious items and desires for a rich and fancy life. This conjunction can make a person
obsessed with the idea of relationships and love. They travel to far reaching places to be with someone,
and if this means breaking taboos and cultural boundaries they will do it. Since Rahu shows foreign items
and ideas, love and relationships can occur with someone who is of a different cultural background or
someone living in foreign lands.

Rahu likes to blow things out of proportion, and due to his nature of not being satisfied, this person has a
hard time fulfilling their desire for a perfect partner who can provide security, love, and physical closeness.
They will always need their partner's attention, love, and care. When they don't receive that, it can drive
them to have an affair which could eventually lead to divorce. These people love the idea of a perfect
relationship and they tend to find it in the first thing they see. It's hard for these folks to be single for a long
time since Venus’ desire for relationships is amplified by Rahu.

If Venus and Rahu occur in a bad sign and house, it can lead a person, especially female, to turn pleasure
into a profession. This includes prostitution. A couple of other planetary positions must also come into play
to trigger this type of behavior. Either a female suffers abuse which leads to such actions, or a female's
mind might find this type of work fascinating. This can easily lead to someone in the limelight, and
becoming an iconic figure because Rahu and Venus both love the attention and glamorous lifestyle.

This is not an ideal conjunction to be with if you like a quiet and private life. In certain houses, this can also
show gains of huge amounts of wealth and assets. A person can go into the jewelry business, fashion,
modeling and designing, while at the same time breaking taboos in their industry.

Women with these conjunctions are quite magnetic and attractive, especially when this conjunction occurs
in the 1st, 2nd and 7th House. A man with this conjunction can easily fall for women and become a player in
the early years of his life, at least until the age of 42, when Rahu's desire tends to calm down.
MARS AND RAHU CONJUNCTION
Who is Rahu?

When Rahu and Mars come in conjunction, there is an amplification of independence in a person with an
extremely aggressive nature. This strong willed personality will stop at nothing to achieve its goal. The
impulsiveness in a person increases dramatically, and can also lead to an excessive sex drive or sex
addiction. But this is a great conjunction for a soldier, policeman, and athlete. Mars energy of taking
physical action is amplified through Rahu to an extreme.

This is also a very aggressive personality that doesn't back down from a fight. Even if they are not the right
size for a fair fight, they become like a pit bull. They will go full charge without realizing their own strength.
This quality can be great for a boxer, wrestler, or any other kind of athletics.
JUPITER AND RAHU CONJUNCTION
This conjunction is known as guru chandal yoga. The Guru (teacher) and Chandal (demon) create this
Yoga (union).

Jupiter, the optimistic preacher of higher values comes in contact with the demon of lower values plagued
with lust, greed and envy. No matter how shiny the diamond, a black spot will always lower its value
whether the blemish can be removed or not. This is what happens to the cultured, righteous, law-abiding,
and ritual following Jupiter. The taboo and rule breaking Rahu molds himself into Jupiter's value, and what
comes out this union is a person who not only disregards culture, value, rules, and regulations, but wants
to implement their own uniquely constructed laws for society and the world.
These are two planets that represent expansion and amplification of houses they sit in, and when two
explosives sit together, it can only create a more powerful explosion. This conjunction is that of a true
scientist, skeptic, mystic, and researcher. These are the folks who ask "Who is Jesus? Who wrote the
Bible? Why is there religion? Who said we need religion to survive?" This out of the box thinker truly uses
the world “Glocal.” The global world needs to become local in order to take the next leap forward for
humanity.

Rahu's rush to amplify its quality while at the same time Jupiter’s slow but profound way of expanding
things becomes a battleground for one’s belief. At a younger age, these natives take immature actions
towards their goals. They will do homework half as fast, eat food too quickly, and will follow through with
ideas without thinking about the consequence. .But Jupiter is that one planet that can truly control Rahu.
This is why Rahu's malefic behavior has control in Jupiter's hands. If it gets this native in hot water for their
actions and beliefs, it will not let them drown due to Jupiter's blessings.

In their 30's, the idea of marriage, unions, and following cultural rules take quite a turn. They might not want
to legally tie the knot due to fear brought on by Rahu and Jupiter, which in a woman's case represents a
husband. These men and women become afraid of commitment especially if this conjunction takes place in
1st, 2nd, 4th and 7th House. Rahu feels he is tied down by a culture- bound Jupiter who actually believes in
the lawfulness of union. When these natives believe in something, it's of their own making, especially if they
believe in occult like astrology, magic, secret societies, and rituals of the underground. This combination
produces a mindset that is comfortable having children out of wedlock. Financially, this is a very good
combination especially in 2nd and 11th House.
SATURN AND RAHU CONJUNCTION
When Saturn and Rahu are in conjunction, there is a battle between restrictive Saturn and the obsession of
getting everything now by Rahu. This war between the two great malefic creates fear and anxiety about
losing what you have and getting what you want. In this conjunction, the rule breaker and taboo breaker,
Rahu meets his arch nemesis Saturn, who brings the practice of law and order. This creates a foreign law
administrator, or someone who applies the law of foreign lands into their own life; perhaps even becoming a
lawyer in foreign country. However, do not think that this person will be the most honest lawyer. Rahu's
eagerness to break laws and regulations make them a cunning and willful liar. They can be caught trying to
make an illegal deal or trying to escape from the law. Since fear and anxiety is a norm with these two
planets, it can also lead to mental stress problems and eventually harming oneself. There is always some
agenda hidden beneath the surface with these people. There is never a straight forward approach to
something unless it benefits them. This is why they can make great real estate brokers, stock brokers or
someone in finance that makes deals with two foreign parties.

This is not a good combination in the 8th or 12th House, as it can lead to suddenly being caught for illegal
activity and even going to jail for their misdeed. In this 6th House, it gives great courage to fight the
opposition, as any malefic planet does well in the upachaya house. But depending upon who is influencing
who in the conjunction, it can either lead to victory or great defeat. Also in the 12th House, it can lead to
seeing things like ghost and demons, but this only occurs in certain zodiac signs and nakshatras which I will
not discuss. Many people are born within this period and do not see much effect. Saturn and Rahu are in
conjunction for a maximum of 18 months. They usually travel to foreign lands in most of the houses, as
Rahu and Saturn's aspect see the houses that represent foreign lands such as the 7th, 8th, 9th and 12th
House. Most who are born in a tight conjunction can expect to have the qualities which I just discussed.

Both of these planets represents foreign things because Rahu is the karaka of foreign things while Saturn
separates one from their homeland or family and takes them to foreign places.
How is conjunction mathematically explained?

Each zodiac sign is about 30 degrees long or you think of it as 30 feet long. In those 30 feet section you can cramp up to nine
planets. Since there are 12 zodiac signs which are 30 degrees long, it equals to the 360 sky around us (12 x 30).

Image 1:

In image one you see the zodiac sign of Aries which is 30 degree long, and in that zodiac sign you have two
planets: Venus and Mars. Each of those planets are standing at a certain position inside the zodiac sign of
Aries. The way you can tell exactly at what position they are standing at is by looking at their degrees. This
way you can safely say that Venus is in the sign of Aries at 10 degrees while Mars is Aries at 15 degrees.

Planets have been moving through these invisible sections of the sky for eons. The only reason why
astrologer/astronomers used drawings of scorpion, goat, ram, fish etc.. by using the start was just so they
map that section of the sky with ease. If today all starts vanished from the sky, we can still detect which
portion of the sky a planet is moving through, meaning which zodiac sign they are moving through. Just
because the Aries symbol is ram, which was drawn by using the pointers of the starts in the sky, doesn't
mean that the meaning of Aries will vanish if that start patter was to disappear in from the sky tomorrow.
Starts are not important when it comes to astrology. The only thing that is important is measurement of the
sky where planets are traveling in.

This is why it's so important o learn the true meaning of astrology because 100% of the population that
doesn't believe in astrology, thinks that astrology only exist due to the starts in the sky. They don't realize
that start are just a way to separate those thirty degree section we called the 'zodiac belt'.

Age of planet:

• Infant

• Young

• Adult

• Old
Infant: The infant stage of a planet is between the 0:00 and 00:59:00 degree. Any planet that has less than 1
degree in your horoscope is infant. That planet is like a little baby who sleeps all day and doesn't know
exactly what's going on. Those planets tend to act without direction, without maturity and without sense.
However, the infant planets wake up and mature up between the age of 28-35. These planets will tend to
keep people in regards to their significance and the houses they rule in your horoscope.

If Mars is infant in your horoscope and you have a Taurus ascendant, then Mars is ruling your 7th house of
marriage and legal partnerships and 12th house of foreign lands, jail, hospitals, looses, hidden treasure and
isolated places. If Mars is sitting in the sign of Cancer in the 3rd house with less than one degree position in
your Taurus ascendant horoscope then it will do several things for you.

1. Delays the marriage

2. Make sure lazy regarding your effects in life and regarding marriage.
3. You will wander like a lost soul in regards to your siblings, higher learning and dealing with enemies.
You can even go to jail due to your 'stupidity' or 'stupid action'. You will also have trouble keep a steady job,
Why?

First, Mars is in the 3rd house of siblings, courage and effort. Second, Mars from the 3rd house 'aspects' the
6th house of enemies, 9th house of long distance travel, higher learning and your teachers, also, Mars aspects
the 10th house of career. Third, Mars will make feel lazy towards religious beliefs, higher learning in school
and long distant travel. Anytime you go to a distant land to visit or to stay, you will feel like a lost soul
because Mars is infant and Mars represents energy and will power within you and since Mars is debilitated
and is less than 1 degree, it's like a double edged sword. Although you might have a will power, it would be
used in wrong action and wasteful actions. You will have abrupt and uncanny anger, and short temper.

Now, let's make an example out of infancy of Mars and conjunction. If let's say Mars in the 3rd house for
Taurus ascendant is less than 1 degree, but, this time Venus is sitting in the 3rd house at 3 degrees with
Mars, this make a 'close' conjunction between the two planets.
What is a Dasha? (Planetary time periods)
(small section from my book)

Dasha - it simply means “A given time period”. It is also known as (Vimshottari dasha).

In Vedic astrology, your life span is control by a single planet at certain points of your life. Even though
your entire chart is affecting you, the majority of events will be happening of a planet that is controlling your
life for that time period, and depending upon its placement in your chart, it will provide either good or bad
time in your life. The Dasha system is determined by your Nakshatra. We’ll discuss Nakshatras later which
are very important.

How to judge a dasha in jyotish?

This process will become an easy task but in the beginning it will look a bit complicated.
When judging if your dasha will be good or bad you must take in account of several factors.
The dasha lord itself is the primary factor. The maha dasha lord whose cycle you're running should be judge
on these factors below.

• exalted sign

• own sign

• friendly sign

• enemy sign

• debilitated

• In conjunction with a functional malefic

• In conjunction with an enemy

• Aspects on the dasha lord

• Is it in Kendra or Trikona

• Dasha lord placement in divisional charts like D3, D9 and D10

• What are the points of the planet in 'Dik bal' and 'Shad Bal'

Exalted: Is your dasha lord exalted in a certain sign? like Jupiter in cancer or Saturn in Libra where a planet
gains maximum strength. This will help the planet in giving the maximum amount of positive result during
its dasha and antra dasha period.

Own sign: Is the planet placed in its own sign: Saturn in Capricorn or Aquarius, Jupiter in Sagittarius or
Pisces or Sun in Leo etc... This is perhaps is even a stronger placement per my studies as a planet feels most
comfortable in its own sign, since it's its own house. Any person will feel comfortable in their own house
rather than in a luxury hotel of a exalted sign.

Friendly Sign: Is the planet placed in a friendly sign? like Jupiter in Leo, Aries or Scorpio, or Venus in
Aquarius, Mercury in Libra. This position is not as strong as the two above but this still gives decent result
in dasha period.
Enemy sign: Now if a planet is placed in an enemy sign, it can give quite a bit of struggle and trouble during
its dasha. If Sun is in Capricorn, Saturn in Leo or Cancer, Mercury in Aries or Sagittarius. Here, the planet is
forced to live in the house of enemy where it's constantly worried and paranoid. The planet is agitated being
in a foreign yet enemy environment.

Debilitated: If the dasha lord is debilitated then it can give lot of downward cycle in the horoscope if other
factors are not present. If Sun is in Libra or Saturn is in Aries, then planet lose their dignity and status, which
can make a person insecure during its dasha, they can lose their reputation and status in society during their
dasha etc.. But sometimes these planet can even give lot of wealth due to deceiving people and cheating
people. If Mars is debilitated then during its dasha it can give accidents and surgery but at the same time it
will give you a very aggressive nature to get what you want. You can be forceful and threaten people in
getting your way, like a gangster or mafia member. You can scam people and make money, but a certain
placement of a debilitated planet can also land you in jail due to those things, especially if debilitated planet
is in the 12th house.

Functional malefic: another way to see if the dasha will have trouble is by seeing if daha lord is in
conjunction with a functional malefic, especially less than 5 degrees. I've discussed functional malefic in this
book, where every ascendant has a planet that becomes a trouble some planet even though it might be a
benefic like for Cancer ascendant, Jupiter is the lord of the 6th house, which makes him a temporary malefic
planet for this ascendant. It can cause debts and diseases and lot of obstacles for the native if it's not well
placed in the chart. i.e. if in cancer ascendant Moon and Jupiter are in conjunction in the 10th house,
especially less than 5 degrees apart, then during moon dasha the person can inquire debt due to career and
business, they can suffer from depression since moon is the mind and Jupiter is the 6th house lord of
diseases and their own guru and teacher can become an obstacle for them. However, Jupiter can give good
result in its dasha or antar dasah if it's placed in its own sign in the 6th house, 8th or 12th house as functional
malefic for cancer ascendant, which will create a Vipreet Raj Yoga, (reversal of fortune), this shows when a
person who is suffering in life will suddenly win a lottery or suddenly gain a lot of wealth. If Jupiter is
exalted for Cancer ascendant as a functional malefic, then it shows victory of enemies, strength to over come
obstacles and repaying of debt on time, but even an exalted Jupiter can give health problems and other
things.

Conjunction with enemy: If two planets are not friendly to each other then during their dasha they can give
mixed results due to their planetary war. If Saturn and Mars are in conjunction, then during each of their
dasha they take the native to higher management status including fire fighter, engineer etc.. but, they can
also get lot of cuts & bruises, car accidents and burns due to Mars being fire, Saturn being oil and mixing
them together is not a very healthy choice, not to mention Saturn and Mars are not too friendly to each other.

Aspects on dasha lord: You must also check if dasha lord or antar dasha lord is receiving an aspect from a
friendly planet or an enemy planet. If the dasha lord is well placed, but it has an aspect from a debilitated or
enemy planet then it can cause set backs again. If the dasha lord is reciving an aspect from a friendly plaent
who is strong and well placed then it will add to the support for the planet during its dasha period.
What are aspects in astrology & horoscope?
Aspects are simply the houses that each planets looks towards from the house that it sits in. Aspect simply
means sight, or seeing something. If you’re sitting at a window of your apartment and you look across the
airshaft to the building across the street; you’re aspecting that building.
Instead of you, just put Saturn at the window with a cup of coffee, and instead of the apartment building,
think of a astrological houses; the 12 houses.
Saturn, sitting at the same window that you were sitting at, will look towards building number 1 (which is
the place you’re sitting at, inside of the apartment), building number 3, building number 7 and building
number 10. And when he looks at those buildings, he affects the ambience of those buildings. Simply, Saturn
aspects the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 10th house from itself.
Lets say Saturn is sitting at the window of apartment building 1 (The first house, aka, Ascendant), and he’s
looking at his girlfriend in building (house) 3, but, because he’s inside a bad apartment (building 1), he’s not
happy, and so he’s looking at his girlfriend across the airshaft with a grim and somber face. What does this
do? Well, it will bring the girlfriends mood down in building 3, and the ambience of building three will also
suffer because the negative energy will transpire through the girlfriend and into the house. This will happen
to the building 7 and 10 as well (meaning houses), because Saturn is not just looking at build 3 with a
somber look, but all the building he is able to see. Building 7 and 10 may hold his father and friends, and it
will not be a good feeling.
, which will just create a happy mood all around.Now, lets say Saturn was in a good (Happy) position in
building 1, which is the apartment he’s sitting in right now, then he’ll be happy, and smiling, and giving
kisses to his girl friend, father, mother, and, his boss,
Happy and sad mood in astrology is simply the signs and houses a planet sits in where he or she is either
happy being there, sad or neutral.
Now, how do you figure out happy or sad mood of Saturn, and other planets? Let’s look at the table below. I
will only show happy and sad, as rest are neutral places for the planets, rest I mean rest of the zodiac signs
and houses. Remember, there are 12 zodiac signs and 12 houses, so the houses not mentioned in the table
below for each planet are considered neutral places.

Below is a simple chart showing you which planet aspects what house in astrology. Each planet in your
horoscope is looking at certain house by certain Astrological Degree, and because of those aspect your life is
what it is right now. The reason why you must always look at aspects because like the building and windows
example, all the planets are affecting each other.
How to Study Transits:

Transits are constant movements of planets in the sky. Transit simply means movement. Planets are always
rotating and revolving around the sun and they are always moving through a certain sign, nakshatra, degree,
which means in your own birth chart these planets are moving over a certain house and certain planet.
Transits bring confirmed results of "Mahadashas and antar dashas" in Vedic Astrology. But, even if you do
not know the mahadasha system, many qualified astrologers can make a fairly well prediction just based on
transits and seeing how planets are moving in your horoscope. example: If Jupiter and Saturn are both
pointing to the 7th house or Venus via their transit or aspect then marriage is most likely to happen.
Sometimes planets will go over an empty house in your horoscope and sometimes they will be going over a
planet in your horoscope. Transits have a more heavy effect when they go over a certain planet.

Jupiter will be retrograde from December 9th 2014 to April 8th 2015 in the sign of Cancer. This retrogration
of Jupiter means that it's neatest to the earth and moving backwards per the view point from earth, but it's not
really moving backwards, it's just the illusion. The power of Guru dev will be felt all throughout the world in
the most positive way. This particular retrograde motion of Jupiter is very special because Jupiter is exalted
in the sign of Cancer, although not at the exact degree of its maximum exaltation but Jupiter will still be the
massive guiding light for many. Exalted Jupiter while closest to the earth is a recipe for magic. Now, many
articles and astrologists will also say "retrograde Jupiter gives reverse results", that is rarely true in very few
circumstances which I will not discuss here. How will this Jupiter effect us. Jupiter is the karaka of
optimism, wealth, knowledge, gurus and sustenance. All the aspects of Juptier will be at the forefront in our
lives; we will be excited about making big money, attaining all sorts of spiritual knowledge, finding
dignified gurus and keeping our selves healthy. These qualities will be far stronger due to Jupiter being
closest to earth for the next five months.

How is this Jupiter going to effect you individually? well Jupiter is in the sign of cancer that means Jupiter
will now effect the sign of cancer itself, and the houses which it'll aspect: Scorpio, Capricorn, Aquarius,
Taurus and Pisces. why so many houses? Jupiter aspects 5th, 7th and 9th place from itself per Prashara
astrology and Jupiter being in the sign of Cancer will also aspect all the fixed signs except Leo per Jamini
updasha aka Jamini astrology. I have made 5 lessons on Jamini astrology on Youtube please go watch those.

Since Jupiter looking at all these houses will show the area of life which will be effected in your life per
normal Prashara Vedic Astrology first:

HOUSES JUPITER WILL INFULUNCE PER PRASHARA ASTROLOGY

Aquarius ascendant: 6th, 10th, 12th and 2nd house.

Pisces ascendant: 5th, 9th, 11th and 1st house.

Jupiter will effect the houses per your ascendant. Here is the twist, transits of planets are also judged from
the moon as well, meaning you see your moon sign placement and make moon your ascendant which is
called Moon rashi chart, if you're not familiar then it's given to you in my report on the 2nd page under
my shop section here. If you are an Aries ascendant Jupiter is transiting your 4th house, right? that means it's
effecting 4th, 8th, 10th and 12th house, but if your moon is in the sign of Capricorn, that means from the
moon Jupiter is in the 7th house thous effecting 7th, 11th, 1st and 3rd house, how would you read this? well
from the moon, which means your mind you want Jupiter to bring optimism in your relationship, network
circles and siblings, right? by Jupiter feeding such optimism to these houses it will make you feel secure
about your feelings, emotions home (4th house), your health and fear will be lessened (8th house) and it will
bring opportunities to visit foreign spiritual places (12th house).

The most easiest way to understand the concept of transits from ascendant and the moon is to know that
from the moon are the things you will make happen and from the ascendant are the things that will
automaticaill happen. If Jupiter is transiting 5th from the ascendant and 9th from the Moon; Jupiter will
make you deal with your education or situation related to children but it will also make you travel to a long
distance on behalf of your children. Saturn transiting 5th from the ascendant and 8th from the moon while
Saturn is in Libra can show although one is having fear of the unknown and afarid of the transformation that
is to come, at the same time they might excel in their studies and education or get birth of a child. Most of
the time transits give mix results due to the fac they are transiting in different houses from the moon vs. the
ascendant.

Let's also talk about Jamini astrology transit. In Jamini astrology Jupiter will aspect all the fixed signs
except the one closest it which is Leo (rules of Jamini). But how will Jupiter effect your fixed signs? for
example if you're a Cancer ascendant Jupiter, per Jamini will aspect 5th, 8th and 11th house, does this mean
that Jupiter will brings situation related to its significances? no, this is where one must understand which
degree Jupiter holds, between 1 to 7 planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn) which
degree does Jupiter hold? as in highest to the lowest amongst these planets. This is the concept known as
karakas. Planet with the highest degree becomes the Atmakaraka and the planet with the lowest degree
becomes Darakaraka. Below are quick references to the karaka and their meaning from planet holding the
highest degree to lowest in your birth chart.
1. atmarkaraka - soul, personality and soul's lesson. (highest degree)
2. amatyakaraka - career, minister to atmarakaraka (2nd highest degree)
3. bhatrikaraka - siblings, neighbors, friends (3rd highest degree)
4. matrik karaka - mother, home, dwelling, conveniences. (4th highest degree)
5. putrakaraka - children, education, creativity (5th highest degree)
6. gatnikaraka - misfortune, diseases, obstacles, service, enemies. (6th highest degree)
7. darakaraka - spouse (7th highest degree)
Depending upon which degree Jupiter holds and which Karaka it becomes, it will bring situation related to
those things but in the most positive way. If Jupiter is the amatykaraka, which means it will effect things
related to your career during this transit; in case you're a Aries ascendant Jupiter from the 4th house will only
aspect 8th, 11th and 2nd house, this shows that one will suddenly find career advancement through network
circle and increase in savings. When you are looking at Jupiter from the eye of Jamini do not think it will
aspect the 10th or 12th house, it's not, it's blind to those houses.

Once you figured out which karaka Jupiter is, which is also available in the report on shop page here, you
can refer to your ascendant below and see which houses it will aspect as that karaka.

HOUSES JUPITER WILL INFULUNCE PER JAMINI SUTRA

Aries ascendant - 4th, 8th, 11th and 2nd house

Taurus ascendant - 3rd, 7th, 10th and 1st house

Gemini - 2nd, 6th, 9th, and 12th house

Cancer - 1st, 5th, 8th and 11th house

Leo - 12th, 4th, 7th and 10th house

Virgo - 11th, 3rd, 6th and 9th house

Libra- 10th 2nd, 5th, and 8th house

Scorpio - 9th, 1st, 4th and 7th house

Sagittarius - 8th, 12th, 3rd and 6th house

Capricorn - 7th, 11th, 2nd, and 5th house

Aquarius - 6th, 10th, 1st and 4th house

Pisces - 5th, 9th, 12th, and 3rd house

The next step is to see which planet Jupiter is transiting over and which planet is Jupiter in aspect to, this
applies to Prashara and Jamini.

If Jupiter is transiting your 4th house as Aries ascendant and you have Saturn in the 4th house, then per
Prashara Astrology Jupiter will bring easiness into the strict rules of home and easier work in homeland. If,
per Jamini astrology Jupiter is the Matrikaraka (4th highest degree) transiting over your Gatnikarka (6th
highest degree planet) Saturn, then Jupiter will bring better heath for the mother, attainment of home or
benefit from home itself.

If Jupiter himself is the Gatnikaraka, meaning it's the planet of misfortune then there will be protetion and
improvement through those areas. If Jupiter is transiting your 6th house as Gatinikaraka it will destory your
enemies or make them your friends, it will also turn your bad bosses into friends per aspect on the 10th
house, bring better health due to the aspect on 1st house and bring peace and resolve issues at home due to
the aspect on 4th house.
If Jupiter is the putrakarka transiting the 8th house while in cancer and retrograde at the same time, Jupiter
will either bring studies related to research work depending upon your age and if you're in school or Jupiter
will suddenly bring birth of a child. If Putrakarka is transiting over your Gatnikaraka then children may
reslove your misfortune or enemies issue, regardless of which planet becomes the Putrakaraka including
Jupiter.
If you have Moon in the 8th house in Scorpio in your birth horoscope and Jupiter is transiting your 4th house
then Jupiter will be bring sudden optimism into your mind and pull you out of the darkness into the light per
normal Vedic Prashara astrology.
