What is VALUE?

From the latin word “valere” which means to be strong and


vigorous.
Values in a society give meaning and direction to every individuals life and
influence his human behavior
Collectively, the values of a society would be the standards or principles
for which an act is judged to be what is right or wrong, correct or
incorrect.
From the premise that a human person has to have strength or valor in
every endeavor.

Crab Mentality.
Refers to the behavior of preventing
someone from achieving something
due to jealousy or envy. Instead of
praising or rendering assistance,
someone with crab mentality would
think “if I can’t have it, then you
can’t as well” and will purposely try
to bring his/her victim down.

Pakikipagkapwa-Tao
Filipinos are open to others and
feel one with others. This is
regarding others with dignity and
respect, and deal with them as
fellow human beings

camaraderie and a feeling of
closeness one to another. It helps
promote unity as well a sense of
