EVENT CONCEPT

The 1st Franchise Conference aims to promote responsible micro, small and medium

enterprise business through franchising by providing technical know-how about running their

own franchise. Also the conference seeks to provide learning opportunities as they listen to other

franchisees talk about their successes as well as their challenges.

The Association of Filipino Franchisees, Inc. with the theme “Turning Your Franchise

Investment to Success”, invites interested and aspiring investors, businessmen and entrepreneurs

to be part of Association of Filipino Franchisees, Inc. 1st Franchisees Conference. This will be held

at the World Trade Center on September 30, 2017 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Registration starts at

7:00 am to 8:30 am. Registration fee is two thousand pesos (P 2,000.00) for the participants and

thirty thousand pesos (P 30,000.00) each for the gold sponsors. Deadline of confirmation and

payment is on or before August 5, 2018. A chance of learning and winning raffle prizes awaits

you!
Objectives

1. To develop synergy and networking franchisees.

2. To promote responsible micro, small and medium enterprise business through


franchising.

3. To assist the franchisees to manage their own franchise branches.

Action Plan

1. By combining and interacting with the diverse franchisees to produce a great


output and product in order to give a complete customer satisfaction.

2. By assigning a convincing communicator to endorse and advertise the business.

3. By attending training and seminars in order to be more responsible and familiar to


the business. So that they will become aware on what will happen inside and outside
the industry.

Venue/Time/Marketing

The conference will be held at the World Trade Center starting from 9:00 am to
5:00 pm. Registration will start at exactly 7:00 am to 8:30 am. Promoting the conference
to the participants and sponsors will be consigned through the use of:

 Traditional Media
 Tarpaulins that will be posted on high-traffic areas
 Newspaper Ad with event details (Manila Bulletin/Philippine Daily Inquirer)

 Social Media
 E-mail, Facebook, Twitter - invitation and program will be sent to the participants

No. of Participants: 200pax

This contract for event planning services is being entered into by Eventfinity, to be
referred as the EVENT PLANNERS hereafter; and the ASSOCIATION OF FILIPINO
FRANCHISEES, INC., to be referred as the CLIENT hereafter in the contract.

This contract comes to effect on the date of signing . The contract binds the PLANNERS
to serve the CLIENTS on September 30, 2018.

Terms and Conditions of the Contract:

PAYMENT

A non-refundable and non-transferrable fee of 75% of the total amount of the contract package is
required upon contract signing and can be paid only in cash. The other 25% full payment of the total
amount of contract package shall be made within FOURTEEN (14) DAYS prior to the event thru cash or
bank deposit. Only 50% of the Total amount of the Stated Contingency Fund is refundable by the client.

Note: For fortuitous events or force majeure or acts of God, Eventfinity reserves the right to forfeit the 50%
down payment to its favor.

In the event of non-payment, Eventfinity retains the right to collect all the necessary payments
from the client using all legal and permissible means. Client will be responsible for all damages, court fees,
legal fees, and collection costs incurred by Eventfinity.

Conference Fee. The client shall pay an amount of Two Thousand Pesos (PHP 2,000.00), VAT inclusive.
Fees shall be based on the actual number of attendees and sponsors but cannot be lower than the
required minimum number of Two Hundred (200) participants and (20) sponsors or equivalent to
minimum amount of One Million Pesos (Php 1,000,000.00).
Payment Details - Client shall remit payment to Eventfinity by depositing to the following account:

Client shall provide Eventfinity with the deposit slip indicating Client’s company name through fax at +63
2 899-89999; 822-2222; 759-4444 or email a scanned copy through eventfinity@gmail.com.

RELATIONSHIP OF THE PARTIES

To make the event a success, we do have tie up partners for different kinds of suppliers needed for the
event. The parties acknowledge and agree that the services performed by the Event Planner, sub-
contractors, or agents shall be as an independent contractor and that nothing in this Agreement shall be
deemed to constitute a partnership, joint venture, or otherwise between the parties.

The client is forbidden to directly contact the suppliers that are provided by the Event’s Planner to avoid
miscommunication between parties.

IMPORTANT MATTERS

1. Eventfinity represents and warrants to Client that it has the experience and ability to perform the
services required by this Agreement; that it will perform said services in a professional, competent and
timely manner; that it has the power to enter into and perform this Agreement; and that its performance
of this Agreement shall not infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party. However, Client will not
determine or exercise control as to general procedures or formats necessary to have these services meet
Client's satisfaction.

2. It is agreed to that Client will take reasonable steps to protect Eventfinity’s personnel and equipment
during the contracted period. In the event of injuries or damages resulting from insufficient protection on
Client’s part, Client will be responsible for paying for all of Eventfinity’s resulting costs (including, but not
limited to, insurance deductibles, medical treatment) that are not reimbursed by insurance.

3. This agreement cannot be canceled after signing the contract. If cancellation is initiated by the Client
and agreed to by Eventfinity (through another signed written agreement only), Client will be required to
pay any unrecoverable costs already incurred by Eventfinity (but not more than the total fee agreed
upon).

4. Client shall pay any additional charges imposed by the venue and other suppliers if it exceeds the
allotted contingency fund. These charges may include, but are not limited to, parking, electricity charge,
corkage fees, etc.

5. Client is not allowed to transfer this contract to any other party without written and signed consent of
Eventfinity therefore, any changes will not be entertained without approval of both parties.

6. This agreement is not binding until received and signed by both parties. Any changes must be written
and signed by both parties. Oral agreements are non-binding. The latest contract supersedes all previous
contracts between the Client and Eventfinity.
If any clause in this Agreement is found to be unenforceable by a court of law, the rest of this Agreement
shall remain in full force and effect.

7. Inclusions and exclusions of services were clearly discussed (in written and oral) by Eventfinity and the
client before signing the contract.

8. Eventfinity may elect not to exercise rights specified in this agreement. By doing so, Eventfinity does not
waive their right to exercise those rights at a future date.
