DLL Earth and Life Science 11 Week 1

The document is a daily lesson log for an Earth and Life Science class discussing the origin and structure of the Earth and universe. Over the course of four class sessions, the teacher will discuss different hypotheses explaining the origin of the universe and solar system, including the Big Bang theory, Nebular hypothesis, and Planetesimal theory. Students will learn about the early development of the universe from the Planck era to galaxy formation. They will conduct activities like presenting timelines and discussing assigned hypotheses in groups. The goal is for students to understand theories about the creation of the universe and how scientific data is used to explain the origin of the Earth.
