Pahiyas Festival

It is a colorful feast celebrated every 15th day of May by the people of


Lucban, Quezon in honor of San Isidro Labrador. It is the farmer’s thanksgiving
for a bountiful harvest with a grand display of colorful rice waters, fruits,
vegetables and handicrafts adorning every house in the town.

Higantes Festival
Also known as the feast of San Clemente, is celebrated every November
23 in the town of Angono, Rizal. This is the major festival in honor of San
Clemente, the Patron Saint of Fisherman.

Panagbenga Festival
An annual festival celebrated every February which takes place in
Baguio City, Philippines. The term “Panagbenga” comes from a kankanaey
term meaning “Season of Blooming” this festival reflects the history,
traditions and values of Baguio and Cordilleras. It last month long and
flourishes through community Spirit involvement.

Bangus Festival
One of the most Philippines most elaborate celebrations. Popular for its
unique cultural fusions, this is the popular tourist’s attraction. The festival is
held in the beautiful City of Dagupan.

Bacao Festival (Corn Festival)


A week long annual corn festival occurring in town of Echague Isabela,
the Queen Town of Isabela Province. The term “Bacao” is of Yogad origin
meaning corn. The festival is held during the month of March 15-19. Echague
began its Bacao festival in celebration of the feast day of Saint Joseph the
Worker.

Pagoda sa Wawa Festival


The river festival is held every July, when a barge carrying a huge
decorated float is released along the Bocaue River.

Fertility Dance and Obando


Couples wish to have a child flock to Obando, Bulacan, and every May
17 to 19 to join the street dance in honor of Santa Clara.
