Input and Output Devices

An input device sends data and allows interaction with a computer. Common input devices are keyboards and mice, but there are many others like cameras, scanners, and biometric sensors. An output device receives data from the computer for display, projection or physical reproduction. Common output devices are monitors and printers, but there are also speakers, projectors and 3D printers. Together, input and output devices allow users to control computers and see processed information.
