Procedures
 The class starts with a Prayer, Checking of attendance, Recap on previous lesson.
Introductory Activity
 The teacher will let the students answer the Brain Dominance Activity and let them

identify which part of their brain is dominant.
Activity  The teacher will let the students read the Reading Material in their book entitled, “The
10 minutes Dominant Side of the Brain”.

 The teacher will ask the following questions:


Analysis  Would you agree about the article you read? Why?
5 mins  Do you think it’s beneficial to have a dominant side of the brain?
Note: The teacher will emphasize that although there is brain dominance, both parts of the brain are working/functioning.

 The teacher will give a lecture discussion on new Research Study on The Brain’s Left
and Right Side.
 What do you think about the Research Study?
Abstraction
 Would you agree about it?
20 mins
 Have you read about any research study associated with the Left and the Right
Brain?
 The teacher will introduce Mind Mapping.

Application  The teacher will give situations and questions that will lead to the students use and
10 mins identification of their brain dominance.

 The teacher will let the students answer the following questions:
Assessment
 Can you be both Left and Right brained? Explain your answer.
5 mins
 Which side of the your brain is dominant? How do you plan to enhance the other
brain hemisphere?

Assignment
 Do an advance reading or research about How to Mind Map.

Concluding Activity
“Sometimes you should let your Brain win. Because your heart is not always right.”
