    given only to the lowest category of the

    the post (If Not State the Rules to be
    relaxed)

    Candidate (Extract From Service Register

    i The term ‘near relative’ is defined and
    restricted to include only the wife/
    husband/son / unmarried daughter/ adopted
    son/adopted daughter / adopted unmarried
    daughter widow/ divorced or deserted
    daughter of the Government servant who
    dies in harness. Cases or near relative such
    as brothers / sisters etc. of the deceased
    should be exclused.

    ii Candidates seeking employment should


    possess all the prescribed qualification for
    the post concerned and that this condition
    should not be relaxed.
    iii Dependant of the temporary Government
    servants under rule 10 (a) (1) of the General
    Rules for the Tamil Nadu State and
    subordinate Service who dies in harness are
    not eligible to be considered.
    iv. Dependents of the Government Servant.
    Who dies after retirements are not eligible
    to be considered?
    v. Dependents of Government Servant who die
    / in harness can be considered for
    appointment on compassionate grounds
    irrespective of the presumptive date of
    super annuation of the deceased
    Government Servant.
    vi Even in one member of the family other
    than the deceased Government Servant was
    employed over before the death of the
    Government servant and was living
    separately without extending any help to the
    family, then the case of other eligible
    dependents may be considered.
