The candidate must cary Aadhaar Card/Voter ID Card/Driving License/Pan Card! any government authorized Identity Proof in original along with the admit card to the examination centre, falling which they shall not be allowed to appear for the examination, iii, The preference of post shall be taken afer the written examination for the qualified candidates only on the basis of merit 1, EXAMINATION FEES AND MODE OF PAYMENT: i. % 100 FOR APST candidates and @ 150 FOR GENERAL candidates (to be paid online only). ji, Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. 2. ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA |The candidate must be a citizen of India. II, The educational qualification, age, experience, etc as stipulated in the advertisement shall be determined as on the closing date of submission of application, 3, SCHEME OF EXAMINATION ‘©The candidates will have to appear in written examination/test to be conducted by the board Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions 300 Marks ‘The test will comprise of the following subjects: (a) General English ~ 100 marks (50 questions of 2 marks each) Syllabus:- In addition to testing of candidate's understanding and comprehension of the English Language, questions on its Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage etc would also be covered. (b) Elementary Math - 100 marks (50 questions of 2 marks each) Syllabus: The test of Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities will cover number systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretations, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit and Loss, Discount, Simple and Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time And Work, Time and Distance, Tables and Graphs etc. (c) General Knowledge ~ 100 marks (50 questions of 2 marks each) Syllabus: - Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidates General Knowledge of the environment around him/her and its application to society. The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person. The Test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Ast and Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, NationalInternational Organizations/institutions etc. State specific questions may also be asked Pree 2 of A NOTE: A candidate must secure a minimum of 33% or more marks in each subject in the written examination paper and must secure 45% of marks out of aggregate total marks in the written examination paper. In other words selection will be based in the aggregates total marks secured in the written examination paper. The Test will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions comprising of 150 questions as mentioned above. Each question will carry 02 (two) marks. The candidate will have to complete the test in 03 (three) hours. There will be a negative marking of % for incorrect answer (i.e % of 2 = 0.5 marks). Final Merit will be based on total marks obtained in written examination only. 4, HOW TO APPLY: Candidate are required to apply online through the official website www.apssb. in. 5. Scanned copies of following documents and information are to be attached/uploaded, ‘Scanned signature of the candidate on white paper with black ink pen (20-60 kb in jpeg format) Latestirecent passport size photo (40-100 kb in jpg format). LTI (Left Thumb Impression) & RTI (right Thumb Impression) (20-60 kb in jpg format) 6. The final recommended candidate will have to submit copies of the following documents/information to the Board. Recent passport size Photograph. Matriculation Certificates issued by the Board/University for proof of date of birth and qualification, APST Certificate and PRC Any other document as may be relevant. Intimation letter to HoD for those who are in regular Govt. Service Qualified candidates will have to produce the above mentioned Certificates/Documents and mark sheet in original otherwise his/her application will be rejected. NOTE:- i. There is no provision of re-evaluation /re-checking of Answer Sheet /Answer Scripts in respect of the examinations conducted by APSSB. ii, The APSSB reserves the right to cancel/withdraw any question/questions from the Test ji, The Board reserves the right to change/amend the examination scheme, if so required anytime before the examination. v. The Board makes provisional selection of the candidate on the basis of information provided in the application and documenticertficates provided by the candidate at the time of submission of document and recommend the same to the indenting/ user department. Further the Appointing Authority ie, the indenting/user department verifies and satisfies itself about the authenticity of documents/certificates and eligibility as per the Recruitment Rules before finally appointing the candidate(s). Therefore, the provisional selection of a candidate does not confirm upon him/her any right of appointment unless the Appointing Authority is satisfied, after such inquiry as may be considered necessary, that the candidate is suitable in all respects for appointment to the post. v. Incase of combined examination for more than one related posts the preference order of the posts by the candidate will be obtained at the time of document verification, vi. If there are two or more candidates having equal marks in the examination, the candidate older in age will get preference. In case of further tie, candidate having higher marks in class X for mentioned shall be preferred vii, The Board reserves the right to prescribe a minimum cut off mark for any post as per availability of candidates. vil, Candidates may apply for more than one post code, but the board may hold the examinations of 7.
