With a great pleasure toward the opportunity extended to me, I Hardiljot Shahi writing this
statement of purpose. I am an international prospective student for Canada from India. As for
as my education in concerned I have done my matriculation with 9.6 Cumulative Grade Point
Average out of 10 in march 2017 under CBSE from DAV Public School Bathinda (Punjab) India.
After that I have done my Senior Secondary in Commerce with 85% under CBSE from Sanawar
institute for children , Bathinda Punjab India .

IELTS :- I attempted IELTS on 10/08/2019 and scored 7.5 band overall with not less than 6
bands in each module and now I am applying in Canada for my further studies in the field of
accounting .
Justification of prior refusals in visa : I have applied for visitor visa in November
2018 .Because ,I wanted to know about the life of people and students in Canada,
so that I could further decide to apply for student visa. But unfortunately my visa
got refused. I was disappointed, then my father encouraged me to complete
senior secondary and apply for student visa . Finally I applied my student visa in
November 2019 In Coquitlam college. But, the agent who applied my case was
new in the field and selected the irrelevant course for my further study, at that
time I did not have much knowledge about what are the requirements of visa
application eventually I have to face on more refusal . I left hope but then my
English mentor suggested me do proper research work about the relevant courses
I can apply. So Now I applied again for student visa in Kwantlen Polytechnic
University for the course of Accounting under “School of Business Faculty” after
searching the course relevancy properly.
Family Background
Well, I belong to small family my father is businessman running his own catering business , it
was my father’s wish to send be abroad for further education . So he is funding me for my
higher education in Canadian territory .My mother is housewife and handles all the domestic
chores . As my father is supreme authority at my home so all decisions are taken by them and
so do the decision of my higher education . Moreover I paid my tuition fee that is CAD 17,990 to
KPU and also paid GIC CAD 10,000 for my living expenses . My family can easily pay all my
expenses for Canada study visa. I also have a an elder sister. She is doing his PHD in
neuroscience Bangalore India . My family is my strength and I have been brought up in very
disciplined atmosphere, where values and principle have always been given priority.

Accounting: Diploma
Description
The Accounting Diploma program prepares graduates for entry-level accounting positions in the
work force or to continue their studies at KPU in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
in Accounting.
The Diploma program includes courses in financial accounting, management accounting,
finance, taxation and auditing. Graduates will also take courses in economics, business math,

I want to join the course of accountancy because I have a keen interest in becoming a
registered accountant. Moreover my relative has also done this course and he had opened his
own business three years ago . Now he is running his business in successful way and earning
great deal of money . he suggested me to do this course from KPU and he promised me to give
me assistance in establishing my own business in my home country . Because of the rapid
industrialization this business of accounting is booming these days in my home country . So this
will be a profit promising business career for me to go with .
