Pie Graph
A pie graph is also known as pie chart. The
whole circle represents one whole or 100%.
The pie graph gives a clear representation
of the results of the Mathematics test.
Presentation:
The following pie graph shows the number of
each flavor of ice cream cones that Mr. Torres
sold on a certain day.

Flavor of Ice Cream Sold

Mango;
10
C. Presenting New
Examples/Instances

Vanilla Chocolate
Strawberry Mango

Study the pie graph and answer the

following questions.
20 cones
D. Discussing New 1. How many strawberry ice cream cones
Concepts and were sold that day?
Presenting New Skills 2. Which flavor of ice cream did Mr. Torres sell
Vanilla flavor
S#1 the most on that day?
3. Which flavor of ice cream did Mr, Torres sell
Chocolate flavor
more, strawberry or chocolate?
From the pie graph, we can see that
1. 20 cones of strawberry ice cream were sold
that day.
E. Discussing new 2. 45 is the greatest number from the graph.
concepts and So, Mr. Torres sold the most cones of vanilla
practicing new skill ice cream.
#2 3. 25 is greater than 20. So, Mr. Torres sold
more cones of chocolate ice cream than
strawberry ice cream.

F. Developing Paulo’s monthly allocation given as allowance (Learner’s will be

applications of their activity sheets.
concepts and skills in Group #1: The graph shows how Mr. Lim’s
daily living monthly salary of PhP. 12, 000.00 is spent.
( A presenter in each
group will interpret
their answer in front
after the group work
done)
