Do you wish you could live to be 100 or older? Do you wish you
could be healthy all your life? Well, you might be able to get what you
want! Recent scientific research shows that if people only practice five
simple behaviours, they can not only extend their lives but also make
them healthier. What is it actually like to live a healthy life?
Understanding healthy living can be defined as life without problems that
are physical or non-physical in nature. Physical disorders in the form of
diseases that attack the body and physical person. While non-physical
health concerns the condition of one's soul, heart and mind. That is,
health includes physical and spiritual elements.
If you want to commit to living longer, healthier, read on. First,
eat the right foods in the right amount. Three-quarters of your plate must
be filled with fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. If you can't stop eating
meat, choose lean meat (Type 0). Eat poultry, fish, beans, and foods that
are low in saturated fat, trans fat, cholesterol, salt, and sugar. People who
wish they could more easily control the amount they eat might find that
using smaller plates will help. (type 2)
Next, exercise at least 30 minutes a day at least three days a week.
If you exercise five or more days a week or at least 75 minutes each time,
the results will be better for you (type 1). Choose the type of exercise you
like. If you don't have 30 minutes in a row, then you can break it down
into three 10 minutes periods and get some of the same benefits (Type 0).
Exercise helps improve muscle tone, strengthen bones, and improve
balance. If you haven't exercised for a while, you should visit your doctor
before starting the program. Exercise will not only improve your physical
health, but also reduce stress and improve mental health. Third, find time
to volunteer in your community.
If you volunteer even for a few hours a month, you will still get
benefits that help others give you (Type 1). People who volunteer suffer
less from depression and are less likely to suffer from heart disease than
those who don't. If you want to live longer and be healthier, make sure to
get enough sleep (Type 0). If you are over 18 years old, you may need
seven to nine hours of sleep each night (type 0). If you can't sleep that
much, take a short nap for 20-30 minutes per day (Type 0).
The body also needs to drink enough water. The body is between
55 percent and 75 percent water, and water helps it metabolize fat and
maintain muscle tone. You can get water through fruits and vegetables,
but if you really want to be good for your body, you can drink lots of
water! (Type 0). These five behaviours are the key to living longer and
healthier lives.
If your lifestyle is not healthy it can increase the risk of various
diseases. Ranging from internal medicine to mental illness.
Lifestyle factors that can increase your risk of developing various types
of diseases such as diabetes, cancer, heart disease, and other internal
diseases. Those of you who like to eat unhealthy foods, are lazy to move
or exercise, and have health-disturbing habits such as smoking and
drinking alcoholic beverages, are more at risk of developing the disease.
Imagine, if you had started this behaviour many years ago, you would be
far away front of the game! (type 3).
