Basics of D81(Navanavamsa) Method in predicting intraday movements of NIFTY - Part

This is a pure Vedic Method, which I had already described earlier, but I am writing it
again because many members had requested for it.

First we cast a horoscope for the market opening time of 09:15 AM at NSE, Mumbai
coordinates on a required date.

Attached Screenshots shows horoscope for today(09-04-2019), including Rasi,

Bhavachalit(D1), Navamsa(D9) and Navanavamsa(D81) in both South as well in North
indian styles.

This method is simply based on two Navamsa Techniques known as Dispositor Theory
and Rasi Tulya Amsa. We do not want to complicate it by adding more Navamsa
techniques at this initial stage, of course we can add them later after getting some
experience on this basic vedic method.

Dispositor means sign lord of any planet in any given divisional chart, it could be in Rasi
or navamsa or navanavamsa or any other divisional chart. For example, in the Rasi chart
in attached screenshot dispositor of Moon is Venus, because Moon is in Venus Sign,
similarly Dispositor of Mars is also Venus.

So Dispositor of Moon in Rasi is Venus, then who is the dispositor of Moon in

Navamsa(D9) chart, it is Jupiter, because Moon is in Jupiter's Sign of Pisces . Now who
is the sign dispositor of Jupiter in D81, it is Mars , because Jupiter is in Mars sign of
Aries. Ok.

Now what do you mean by Rasi Tulya Amsa?

It is simply considering the same lagna which is rising in Rasi chart for all the remaining
divisions(in D9 as well in D81) and hence the name "Rasi Tulya Amsa", means
superimposing the rasi lagna on other amsas(Divisions).

At present Taurus lagna is rising in Rasi, so we will take same lagna in D9 as well D81.
So in Rasi chart Moon is in lagna(Taurus) itself . Now where is Moon placed in D9, it is
in 11th house from the Rasi Lagna(Taurus) , is it not? Ok Where is Moon placed in D81,
it is in 10 House from the rasi lagna(Taurus), Ok.

If these two concepts of dispositor and Rasi tulya amsa are cleared now, then we can
proceed further, before that we have to answer the following questions.

Who is the dispositor of Jupiter in D81 and where it is placed from Rasi Lagna ?
Dispositor of Jupiter in D81 is Mars, and that Mars is in Virgo in D81 and hence it is
placed in 5th house from Rasi Lagna.
Now Try to answer the following...

Who is the dispositor of Mars in D9 and where it is placed from Rasi Lagna ?

In D9, how many planets are placed in 12th from Rasi Lagna?

Where is Jupiter placed in Rasi, D9 and D81 from Rasi Lagna?

Basics of D81(Navanavamsa) Method in predicting intraday movements of NIFTY - Part
III

Our target is to find out Intraday movements of Nifty so we will concentrate on Moon's
transit only.

We know that zodiac which is having 360° span is divided into 12 equal signs each
having 30° span. And we also know that Moon roughly crosses each sign in two and half
days. That means Moon takes roughly 24+24+12 = 60 hours to cross one sign. So within
this 60 hours our market opens for two times. That means there will be two working days
within these 60 hours span, and we know that Nifty will be never in same pattern in these
two days. So we cannot predict intraday movements of Nifty just depending on the
position of Moon in one sign having 30° span. We need to divide further each sign into
sub divisions. Luckily our great sages had futher subdivided each sign or rasi into
subdivisions. One of these popular subdivision is known as Navamsa (D-9). Yes as the
name suggests Navamsa means dividing one rasi into nine equal sub divisions. So each
Navamsa will be having span of 30°/9 = 3° 20'
So as Moon will take 60 hours to cross each rasi means it will take 60/9 = 6 hours 40 Min
to coss each navamsa.
Well our market is also having roughy same time span of 6 hours and 15 Min !!!

So Moon's Navamsa has more dominaton over Moon's Rasi in deciding major trend
within an intraday period.

Basics of D81(Navanavamsa) Method in predicting intraday movements of NIFTY - Part

IV
In previous part we had discussed the importance of Navamsa in predicting the main
trend during intraday period which is of length 6 hours and 15 minutes.

Of course during intraday period Moon can transit at the most two Navamsas. It is rare
that only one Navamsa of Moon overlaps entire intraday period.

So till now we had discussed that one rasi is divided into nine equal parts known as
Navamsas, and at the most one or two Navamsas of Moon can operate during intraday
period.

Now let us focus on how to find out general trend of Nifty during intraday period using
Rasi and Navamsa kundlis only.

General trend of the market is in the hands of sign dispositor of the Moon and Navamsa
dispositor of the Moon. We had already discussed that sign dispositor of the moon is
nothing but Lord of the sign in which Moon is transiting in rasi kundli, similarly
Navamsa dispositor of the moon is nothing but Lord of the sign in which Moon is
transiting in Navamsa kundli. We check the placement of these two planets in their
respective kundlis from rasi lagna and decide the general trend of Nifty during intraday.
Whether rasi kundli or Navamsa kundli we always consider placement of planets with
respect to rasi lagna only, which is known as "Rasi tulya amsa" concept, which we had
already discussed in earlier parts.

First we check how is sign dispositor of Moon is placed in rasi kundli.

1) If it is placed in Trikona (1-5-9) rasis from rasi lagna then general trend is very bullish.

2) If it is placed in Kendra(4-7-10) rasis from rasi lagna then general trend is bullish.
3) If it is placed in Upachaya (3-6-11) rasis from rasi lagna then general trend is
moderately bullish.
4) If it is placed in dustana (8-12) rasis from rasi lagna then general trend is bearish.
5) if is placed in 2nd rasi from rasi lagna then general trend is neutral.

So the general obtained above from the sign dispositor of Moon is valid for two and half
days because we know that Moon takes roughly 2.5 days to cross one rasi of 30° span. So
to check actual trend within intraday we go for Navamsa dispositor of the moon.

So next we check how is Navamsa dispositor of Moon is placed in Navamsa kundli.

1) If it is placed in Trikona (1-5-9) Navamsas from rasi lagna then trend is very bullish
during that Navamsa period.
2) If it is placed in Kendra(4-7-10) Navamsas from rasi lagna then trend is bullish.
3) If it is placed in Upachaya (3-6-11) Navamsas from rasi lagna then trend is moderately
bullish.
4) If it is placed in dustana (8-12) Navamsas from rasi lagna then trend is bearish during
that Navamsa.
5) if is placed in 2nd Navamsa from rasi lagna then trend is neutral during that Navamsa.

So the trend obtained from the above Navamsa dispositor is valid during that Navamsa
only which operates for 6 hours and 40 minutes as discussed earlier. If there are two
Navamsas operating during intraday period then we check the placement of both
Navamsa dispositors as mentioned above and conclude turning points during those
Navamsa changing times.

Basics of D81(Navanavamsa) Method in predicting intraday movements of NIFTY - Part

V

In last part we had theoretically discussed how to find out general trend of Nifty on a
given day, by using only rasi and Navamsa kundlis , now in this part we will discuss the
same with a practical example. For this example we will use the rasi and Navamsa
kundlis of 23rd May, 2019 which we had already casted in part II of this tutorial. I had
attached that screenshot of Step 6 here again.

From the screenshot we can see that Gemini lagna will be rising on 23rd May 2019 at the
market opening time of 09:15 AM. Try to remember this lagna because we will be using
this Gemini lagna as reference for checking the positions of planets in all varga kundlis
based on "rasi tulya amsa" which we had already discussed in previous parts.

So we have to check the positions of rasi and Navamsa dispositors of the Moon with
respect to Gemini lagna. We can see that on 23rd May, Moon will be transiting
Sagittarius rasi as well in Sagittarius Navamsa. When a planet is in same rasi as well in
same Navamsa, then that planet is said to be in vargottama, means strongly posited upto
nine divisions. Ok now coming back, we can see that both rasi and Navamsa dispositors
of Moon is Jupiter only, as Jupiter rules over Sagittarius rasi. Where is Jupiter posited in
rasi? Jupiter is in Scorpio rasi which is 6th rasi from Gemini lagna. We know that 6th
house is an upchaya and hence will create moderate bullishness as long as Moon will be
transiting Sagittarius rasi.

How is Moon's Navamsa dispositor Jupiter posited in Navamsa Kundli? It's in Pisces
Navamsa and hence in own Navamsa. Pisces is 10th from Gemini lagna, and hence
Moon's Navamsa dispositor "Jupiter" will ensure bullishness as long as Moon will be in
Sagittarius Navamsa. We know that during intraday period Moon can transit two
Navamsas. At market opening time Moon is in Sagittarius Navamsa, but can shift into
next Navamsa of Capricorn.

How to find out at which time Moon will shift to next Navamsa?

We can find it using mundane tab of Jhora software. We should open this tab after
completing 6th Step of II Part only. In mundane tab of Jhora, we can see "Planetary
Transit Mode" button at bottom right corner. Below that button we can see three text
boxes containing default values of "Sun-Rasi-Before". As we want to know when next
Navamsa of Moon will start, so we have to select "Moon" in first textbox, then
"Navamsa" in next textbox and "After" in last textbox. And then press "Planetary Transit
Mode" button. We will see that now time has changed to 11:44:20 AM from 09:15 AM in
date, time and place section of the screen, that means after 11:44 AM Moon will shift into
Capricorn Navamsa.

So till 11:44 AM Jupiter had assured bullishness, then what will happen after 11:44 AM?
As Moon is shifted to Capricorn Navamsa so now Saturn will be Navamsa dispositor of
the moon. So where is saturn placed in Navamsa? It is placed in Scorpio Navamsa, means
it is in 6th from Gemini lagna, and hence indicating moderate bullishness.

So after 11:44 AM bullishness will be there but less when compared to bullishness
assured by the Jupiter. Saturn is weaker than Jupiter in Navamsa kundli, as Jupiter is well
placed in strongest kendra of 10 as well in own Navamsa(swa-navamsa), but Saturn is in
enemy's Navamsa (shatru-navamsa).

Conclusion:

So finally we can conclude that on 23rd Nifty should rise till 11:44 AM and then there
should be either correction or profit booking till the end of day.

So if you just want to know major intraday trend on a given day, these fisrt five parts of
the tutorial are enough, of course you have to practice it before applying.

I used to cast rasi and navamsa chart at market opening time of 09:55 AM and check in
which sign Moon was transiting and in which Navamsas it was transiting during intraday
time of 09:55 AM to 03:30PM. Generally one or two navamsas only operate. Then I used
to check in which house Moon Sign dispositor was posited in rasi, if it was placed in
1) Dustanas (8-12) bearish
2) Kendra (1-4-7) and trikonas (5-9) bullish
3) upachaya (3-6-10-11) moderate bullish
4) in 2nd house neutral.

Similarly, I check position of Moon's Navamsa Lord in Navamsa from rasi lagna(Rasi
tulya Navamsa) , if it is in
1) Dustanas (8-12) bearish
2) Kendra (1-4-7) and trikonas (5-9) bullish
3) upachaya (3-6-10-11) moderate bullish.
4) in 2nd house neutral.

If bullish in both rasi and Navamsa means highly bullish and vice versa.

Even though planets are well posited in Kendra, trikonas in rasi but they can move to
dustanas in Navamsa and hence lose strength.
